BLACKSTRAP Hood Balaclava Face Mask, Dual Layer Cold Weather Headwear for Men and Women

I have a big head. Hats ride up as wear them, so I dont bother trying to wear them. The Blackstrap Hood solved the problem. Its warm, looks sexy (I bought the solid black one), and perfectly fits my head. Its in the single-digits this week, so this hood arrived just in time too. The chin section of the hood can be worn up or down for when you need to talk/eat while outside. Plus, its made in USA!

Very thin but still comfortable and warm. Doesnt work as well in near 0 Degree F weather though, but I still wear it because of how comfortable and breathable it is.

Rubs smaller or maybe I have a big head! It works well and is sleek, but there are thicker ones out there. This is good for being active outdoors and Im glad to have it. Id buy it again.

I bought a couple of these to use riding my bikes through the winter months. They work great. Keep enough heat in to stay warm, but yet not overheat. I like the long neck which can tuck nicely inside my riding jersey. I only wish they would make one in reflective green which would make it great for the night rides in the cold.

Superb hood from blackstrap. All my family members have one ( in addition to a thicker option as well) This is not an insulating hood, is meant as a lightly warming / spring protection on its own but is a perfect mid to cold temp under-helmet hood/mask. Takes a good bite out of chilly winds for sure. Hinge function makes it easy to adjust cover to over mouth, over nose, on chin only or neck only. Have several and all have held up perfect in seams and colors. Very recommendable - boarding and skiing!

Im 24 years old. Took hunting in cold upstate NY, November. This product does NOT buck the wind like it says. I was really suprized that my new cotton shemagh beat this thing hands down at bucking wind and keeping you warm. Dont be fooled by all these new stretchy synthetic materials that promise the world.

I am not normally a winter runner, but this definitely came in handy this past winter. It was a little big (compared to a different balaclava I have), but sometimes I found myself liking the little bit of extra space (I do also have a fairly small head/neck). The extra space made it easier to pull down off my nose and mouth if I wanted. It made me feel not quite so claustrophobic in it as compared to my tighter one. The designs are fun and I always got complimented on it.
