> 3 dayIve owned a handful of balaclavas and they keep getting lost but this is by far my favorite one and Im making it my duty to store this in a place where Ill always find it. I love the elasticity of this and ability to cover my whole neck (I have a long neck). Its not the warmest Ive owned but it wicks away moisture nicely so thats my only small gripe.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for outdoor activities! I use it for fat biking and snowboarding. It keeps my head warm, fits under a helmet, and meets the criteria of a face mask which most ski hills now require.

Greater than one weekWorked very well for skiing during Covid-19 times, while staying warm (tested up to about -5C). It does work better using a ski mask rather ski sun glasses, as the mask helps keep the fabric in place above the nose.

> 3 dayComfortable and well functioning. Lightweight fabric easily stretches wherever you need. Love the hinged design! All balaclavas should be made like this! Its pretty too!!!

> 3 dayFor skiing this year we are required to wear masks around the load and unload areas. This comes up high enough over my nose with little effort, even with mittens on. It also pulls down super easy when needed. I have other older model BS balaclavas and this version has some extra fabric around the nose and mouth to allow it to have some extra protection and keep ice crystals from forming when breathing, at least in 20 degree temps. I would highly recommend.

> 3 dayI ordered this bc the design concept is excellent--a hinged lower section that can be pulled down from the mouth area but thin under the helmet. Wore it today on the slopes for the first time. Sorry, Blackstrap, Im headed back to my turtle fur balaclava with the micro fleece inside. Much more comfy next to my skin even if it lacks the hinged flap. I spent half a day wishing I could get back to my locker so I could swap it out for my turtle fur.

Yup
> 3 dayI didnt realize when I bought this pretty balaclava that the company makes two different weights. This one is lighter, which is fine. On colder days, I pair it with an additional neck gaiter. I love it!

> 3 dayOne of my best purchases for winter this year. Used on -10 degree wind chill days to walk to work, and on a skiing trip. Keeps the cold and wind out, and really seals those cold leaky spots like the bottom of your hat around your ears and the area at the back of your neck between your hat and jacket. Perfect for skiing- breathable but doesnt get soaked (and then icy) like a fleece gaiter does. Easy to pull down the bottom part when youre warm.
