> 3 daySometimes the powder gets stuck in the corners. I recommend filling it half with water or whatever your liquid is, and then add your powder/ingredients. If you do that, you get a pretty great mix thats super even and smooth. Its totes worth it, and cheaper than a blender or regular bottle that wont be able to mix as well. Its pretty easy to clean, just use a brush to clean the nooks and crannies of the lid. Side note: I have been able to mix old bananas and ripe avocados. If its pretty mushy, itll handle it fine, though its quite a workout and can be used as a shakeweight replacement as well.

> 3 dayI purchased this to help me mix my powdered drinks better and for easy carrying. I drink about 3 powdered drinks a day, which includes protein shakes. It does its job of mixing the powder with water and the lid snaps shut well and it has never leaked. The only reason I took off a star is because the smell of the drinks linger even after a thorough wash.

> 3 dayIve been using BlenderBottles for years now, and this bottle is the perfect to take drink mixes on the go. I needed something to take my 8oz of pre-workout with me to the gym, but dirtying a full 28oz BlenderBottle seemed excessive. This bottle is the perfect size, and the loop makes it super convenient to grab and carry. The metal shaker is great at mixing. One tip I learned is that you should always add some liquid first before your powders. That way none of the powder gets stuck at the bottom of the bottle.

Greater than one weekI was impressed when I saw one so I ordered 2. They worked well and I purchased a 3rd because I didnt run the dishware that often. After about 18 months now the molded rubber along the carry-ring has become tacky. I cut it off and I am still satisfied with the product.

> 3 dayThe pros on it that it doesnt leak at all. I love the amount you can put in it. Fits great in my lunch pail, in fact I am able to fit 2 in my bag. The con is they ARE not easy to flip the cap open. Its so tough to open so thats the only downfall. Sometimes, I open and it will splash on me. Overall, I would buy it again.

> 3 dayI have used Blender Bottles for a long time never have a problem with them. I did get the grey/silver color and love it but be sure to rinse right away if you are using a darker liquid that could stain. I sub smoothies for protein shakes sometimes and the berries in one of my smoothies did stain.

> 3 dayI purchased this product because my previous BlenderBottles lid form Walmart split. This is the 2nd BlenderBottle whose lid has cracked making it useless to me. I think that they should sell replacement lids. Im going to go ahead and chalk up the cracking lids to excessive washing in the dish washer. (high heat mixed with chemicals then cooling off and being wrenched on my bottle too hard) Im going to do a little experiment and not wash this one in the dish washer. If I get another cracked lid in less than six months as happened before this review is going to be downgraded real fast. The lids should not be cracking on these every six months or less. I already threw away the old lids so I cannot provide a picture, but it cracked right where the lid makes an angle to start making a dome shape. When the shaker doesnt have a cracked lid it works great for fine powder and water mixtures. Its terrible for protein powders as they are usually clumpy and the little metal ball really doesnt mix it up well enough. I usually use an electric blender stick to mix protein powder up. Im not going to recommend this to you until its lasted me a year or more. If I update this before then youll know its because it cracked on me again. I do like how these come in a variety of colors.

> 3 dayI found that it tends to leak a small amount when shaking unless you screw the lid on VERY tightly. It is fairly easy to clean but I don’t have a dishwasher and I find that it’s hard to clean some of the small spaces when washing by hand. These issues are more of an inconvenience than anything. Overall it is a solid product.

> 3 dayI have had this product for about 4 months now, and I use it on a daily basis. I got the pink one in the 20 ounce size and it is perfect for me. I drink about one scoop of protein powder a day, so I really dont need anything bigger. I fill it halfway with water, and I like the consistency. The quality of the shaker is really nice, it looks the same as the day I got it. The top still closes very tightly and Im not afraid to throw it in my bag. I also find that unlike other bottles, this does not start to smell. I do make sure to wash it out after every use almost immediately, but there have been situations overnight where I have left it in my car. And it still smells just fine. There is a little faint smell of the protein powder I use, but almost unnoticeable. I did try the trick of freezing it to get rid of the smell, and it did. Either way, it is not an issue for me. I hand wash this, so I have no idea how it would fare in the dishwasher. I also find that it mixes my protein powder very well. I use the One Start Gold Standard in various flavors and 30 seconds of shaking makes sure there are no lumps in there. The little ball does a great job. Overall, I think this is great for the price, and if I ever needed another, I would buy the same thing.

Greater than one weekVery happy with this shaker bottle/cup, especially for the price (I paid $6.99 for the smoke-gray one). The cap to the spout closes with an authoritative snap. The lid screws shut securely. The size is on the small side (the 20 oz. stated size would have to be for liquid filled to the absolute top), but I dont make shakes bigger than 10-12 ounces anyway. Being somewhat smaller has the benefit of making the cup easier to clean, because you dont have to reach too far into it. It also makes the cup compact and ideal for traveling/toting. The shorter depth also makes it easier to spoon out the last of ones shake. :)
