This really does what its supposed to! It wont whip up your drink into a thick milkshake like a blender would, but it does give your protein drinks, milk beverages, etc. a thicker, creamier smoothness; and they are easy to clean (I put mine in the dishwasher). I could not give it 5 stars because I have trouble with the lid being too tight. Its difficult for me to open and close it, but Im hoping with more use it will get easier. (At least I know it wont leak!) I didnt realize the one I purchased was a sports version and read that these have tighter seals; I only saw it was purple and bought it. My next one will be the lazy version, so I can open it more easily.

I was looking for a smaller shaker bottle. THIS IS IT. My go to drink, Isopure dissolves really well in this and completely leak free. Forget about the mixing ball thing though, it doesnt really do anything, the drink mixes very well without it. Id buy it again.

The description says 20 oz then goes on to say measurement markings to 12 oz. The bottom of the bottle says 20 oz. If you will be adding powder to liquid then 12 oz liquid plus 2 scoops of powder will probably be it. If you are just having liquid then most likely you can have 16 oz. In one photo I have marked in red the 16 oz point that I measured out. Other than the size, I like the product. If they could make it an inch taller then there would be no problem.

Love this little guy, I mix three different portions water and juice in it , so it holds a three well even though its not super big, it fits in my cup holder nice too.

The BlenderBottle is slightly overrated, in that you can put sort of wire ball into a container and itll mix it flawlessly. However, what the bottle DOES do is SEAL. No splashing, no popping open, no leaks, no drips. My only suggestion to the BB team would be to look at some other bottles which have curved bottoms. That means no clumping in the corners and easier clean-up. I would also love to buy a glass BlenderBottle. I think the market for it would be well worth the production! I bought two, one in pink and one in blue, so that I could easily cycle and not accidentally grab the wrong one on my way to work.

Ive been using Blender Bottles almost exclusively for mixing my powdered drinks for around a decade at this point. Ive gotten 2-3 years of use out of all them, including this particular model. I usually keep 15 of various sizes on hand so I can meal prep my Huel/Soylent/whatever meal replacement powder Im currently consuming, so Ive gone through at least 50 over the years, and Ive never had a problem with a bottle that had any explanation other than Its been ran through the dishwasher a few hundred times, it was bound to get brittle and break eventually. I usually buy these in bulk and retire my old ones, so I just get whatever color is currently the cheapest, but if youre only looking for 1 or 2, its worth the splurge for whatever color strikes your fancy - you will definitely get your moneys worth out of it.

We bought this for the purpose of blending protein drinks. However, it is sometimes pretty difficult to get the protein powder blended with just the included whisk; I usually blend my shakes in the blender first and then pour them in here for drinking on the go. I also love to pour smoothies into these for when I need to be able to get some nutrition on the go. Besides being difficult to mix the protein powder in smoothly, it is also a little hard to get the flip cap to close all the way. It takes more effort than I expected to get it to click closed. I suppose it’s a good thing so that the cap won’t flip open when you’re vigorously shaking the bottle to blend your drink, but I had an instance where the cap wasn’t properly closed before I started shaking…let’s just say it made a big mess and enticed me to make sure to close it tightly from there on out. If you found this review helpful, I would very much appreciate you giving me a thumbs up. And if you have any questions, Id be more than willing to answer them to the best of my ability!

Blender bottles are durable and last a long time. The 20oz. Size is perfect for my use for mixing drinks throughout the day.

My boyfriend got these for his daily protein shakes. They definitely are leak proof, mix insanely well, and are extremely easy to clean. Now I just put them in the dishwasher because we have so many! He always leaves them in his cars after use and I always get worried the smell (3 day old protein shake smell is friggen gross!) is gonna get stuck into them because they are some sort of tough plastic. I’m not sure what they use in these but the smell always goes away immediately after one wash, no soak, hand wash or dishwasher cleaned. We really love these. I definitely would recommend to anybody who wants a good shaker cup. I also love how there isn’t any little rubber leak proof cup liners because we have had different brand cups with them and they always get lost or gross after awhile.

The top is hard to close. Like the bottle but flupping the top to seal is hard.
