BlenderBottle Classic Loop Top Shaker Bottle, 20-Ounce, Red/Red

I like my blender bottles. Just wish they were slightly narrower, or had some grip to make it easier to hold. And that the screw top lined up with the ridges where my hand gets the only good grip when drinking from it. I love the loop they added since the older version.

Everything seemed ok at first glance, but it cant handle vigorous shaking because it leaks through the screw top. Two stars for the spout, which seals great, but I keep getting liquid all over no matter how much I tighten it. Kind of defeats the purpose of a shaker bottle. Update: the seal has been fixed and it works perfectly now. I thought it was design/ manufacture flaw but it wasnt.

We bought this for the purpose of blending protein drinks. However, it is sometimes pretty difficult to get the protein powder blended with just the included whisk; I usually blend my shakes in the blender first and then pour them in here for drinking on the go. I also love to pour smoothies into these for when I need to be able to get some nutrition on the go. Besides being difficult to mix the protein powder in smoothly, it is also a little hard to get the flip cap to close all the way. It takes more effort than I expected to get it to click closed. I suppose it’s a good thing so that the cap won’t flip open when you’re vigorously shaking the bottle to blend your drink, but I had an instance where the cap wasn’t properly closed before I started shaking…let’s just say it made a big mess and enticed me to make sure to close it tightly from there on out. I purchased this product because my previous BlenderBottles lid form Walmart split. This is the 2nd BlenderBottle whose lid has cracked making it useless to me. I think that they should sell replacement lids. Im going to go ahead and chalk up the cracking lids to excessive washing in the dish washer. (high heat mixed with chemicals then cooling off and being wrenched on my bottle too hard) Im going to do a little experiment and not wash this one in the dish washer. If I get another cracked lid in less than six months as happened before this review is going to be downgraded real fast. The lids should not be cracking on these every six months or less. I already threw away the old lids so I cannot provide a picture, but it cracked right where the lid makes an angle to start making a dome shape. When the shaker doesnt have a cracked lid it works great for fine powder and water mixtures. Its terrible for protein powders as they are usually clumpy and the little metal ball really doesnt mix it up well enough. I usually use an electric blender stick to mix protein powder up. Im not going to recommend this to you until its lasted me a year or more. If I update this before then youll know its because it cracked on me again. I do like how these come in a variety of colors.

Seals well and some what easy to clean. Helps to have a little brush to clean threads on cap but a paper towel works also. All around great product. Light and convenient to carry

The shaker made mixing my whey shake easy and quick! A jar wasnt working and whey is impossible to stir into solution! I had my doubts about anything working and thought I would have to use a blender, but didnt want the noise of the blender or to have to clean it every morning. The shaker is fast, quiet and easy to clean. It earned a spot in my kitchen where everything has a job. The smallest cup, 20 oz, handles the scoop (about 1/2 cup) of powder and the 12 ounces of water easily.

First of all the blender bottles are amazing. Better than any other bottle Ive ever tried. Ive probably owned like 50 of them over the last 5 years ones from target, Sams club, walmart, and amazon. These are the same quality as the ones purchased in stores. They are cheaper on amazon and the color selection is alot better. In store its kind of hit or miss. Ive never had a single bottle break or crack and I drop them constantly. I often toss them in my purse or gym bag and absolutely no leaking. I usually get the normal size ones but last time I ordered the 20 oz bottle and was kind of regretting that I didnt get my usual bottle, until I opened the box. I used it and immediately loved it its the perfect size for my protein but not so bulky. And this bottle mixes better than any bottle Ive ever used no nasty clumps!! They do last forever, I only replace them because eventually they do start smelling like protein. Not nasty but just not like fresh brand new plastic. And that may only be because I take them to work and often dont have to wash them for 5 or 6 hours. But absolutely love them.

Easy to clean and the lid snaps hard enough in place that shaking, or just throwing it in a pack and running around doesnt cause it to spill.

The pros on it that it doesnt leak at all. I love the amount you can put in it. Fits great in my lunch pail, in fact I am able to fit 2 in my bag. The con is they ARE not easy to flip the cap open. Its so tough to open so thats the only downfall. Sometimes, I open and it will splash on me. Overall, I would buy it again.

So easy to clean and works like a charm. Very pleased! The measurement markings are off a little but it gets the job done.
