It worked for maybe a few hours at most then died out…don’t recommend

item as described, used it the other cold night and it did well. would buy again

I was hoping for something that would put enclosure around 88 degrees. We stay around 78 with this. No heat indication/color change. I was hoping for a slight glow. It does radiate well. I may go up in amps. Overall, I am pleased with this products. We just switched from a bulb to this and it is working as indicated.

Bought these to keep my birds warm in the upcoming winter months as they are outside. Lamps do not produce as much heat as expected.

THEY DO THE JOB AS INTENDED

This bulb nearly burnt the house down two nights ago. Had it plugged into a reptile lamp. Luckily woke up when it fell and caught a pillow on fire. Wouldve gone horribly wrong if I hadnt caught it in time. They are low energy use and helpful, but the dangers of these arent explained thoroughly by the seller. Posted about it in an outdoors group and a bunch of people chimed in talking about knowing friends and new homesteaders who burnt down their barns, coops, and houses. Buyer beware!

Better than buying from the pet store! Way cheaper and better quality!

I purchased these to use in our whelping box for my puppies. I really liked them and felt that put out a great heat source but...the first bulb burnt out really fast, it kept blowing the fuses in our area of use, then one burnt out and put off a horrible smell and smelled like something was on fire. I had ordered a second pack of them as again I did like the heat source but decided to return them as I didnt like the horrible smell and possibly could be a fire hazard

Cant beat the price on two of these, work great. Reptiles happy :)
