Much smaller than I anticipated. Bought it for my chicken coop. It only put out warmth a few inches from bulb and not heat. I left it plugged in for a few hours. Would be fine for reptile environment but not 8x8 chicken coop.

I wanted these to use in a chick brooder but when I tried them the first one quit in less than 24 hours. Waste of money!

Coop heater works great. Keeps the chicks warm on cold nights.

These seem to last far longer than the pricey incandescent lamps. A plus is that they do not emit light so they can be left on at night and not disturb anyone. The seller replaced the original pair since they seemed to have burned out quickly; not so the replacements.

Puts out the right amount of heat for our needs.

Gets hot but the bulb didnt last very long

I was so frustrated because I needed the brooder to heat up to 90F and the first lamp nearly heat up to 70F after several hours. I decided to try the other one and so far looks like it works better. I dont think this is reliable product and will be returning

03/05/23 I’m updating this review to 5 stars instead of 1. Seller reach out to me and kindly sent me a replacement, not only they sent the replacement, shipping was fast. Thank you for the great customer service. Bough for my sons bearded dragon during winter days. He loves it. His cage is super toast. I have an update: I bough this for my dragon. The first days the bulb work perfectly. However the bulb stopped working lastnight, when I tried to replace it with the extra it makes a sizzling noise not good. It sucks because I really thought this worked. I feel like seller should replace damage bulbs.

I bought this for my chicken brooder, it does just what it’s supposed to do, keep the coop at nice temperature.Not too warm,and no chill.
