> 24 hourI was so frustrated because I needed the brooder to heat up to 90F and the first lamp nearly heat up to 70F after several hours. I decided to try the other one and so far looks like it works better. I dont think this is reliable product and will be returning

> 24 hourI have a 2 month baby bearded dragon, and even with his 100 watt basking bulb 10 away i couldnt get the temperature where i needed it (the temp was stuck at 80-85 degrees in his basking spot). this is a great addition and he now has the perfect heat gradient in his enclosure! I got the 150 watt ceramic heat lamp and I keep it 24 from the bottom of his enclosure, right above his basking spot. his basking spot is now at 100-105 degrees and the cool side from 80-85. definitely recommend for reptiles who need high temps with large enclosures (mine is a 48x24x24).

> 24 hourNew to owning a leopard gecko, purchased these as recommended online. When they came in, they werent in a name brand box and stamped with an unknown laboratory, and after seeing reviews of them catching fire, I got scared and sent it back.

> 24 hourBought these to use in a snake enclosure. Glass tank, specifically. They do a great job at keeping the temps where they should be. In a ball python enclosure, the hot side is set to 90. I use these with a dimmer. WITH the dimmer, I can get the hot side to the 90 I want. If I use full power with these, the tank has hit about 96 deg F. You definitely need a thermostat with this, or you might end up cooking whatevers in the tank. The unit feels solid, and for now it SEEMS like it will last a long time. Only time will tell. If something changes, I will update the review.

> 24 hourIts a plug and go. I plugged it in and adjusted the temperature with my flukers light that has an adjustable temperature setting control. I set a thermometer under where my leapord gecko lays at night to hunt crickets. So far so good. Its been on 24/7 for the past couple months. The ceramic heat emitter is still going strong. Just make sure you do put a thermometer below to keep an eye on the temperature. Definitely worth the price.
