Used them on cattle gate chains and they worked perfectly.

Fine but NOT horse/ farm sturdy...

These don’t open and close very well. They’re really flimsy and don’t really serve a purpose. They’re hard to open because pushing the little lever down doesn’t open it the way it’s supposed to. We bought them to hook into our chicken coop latch to keep it from coming open by itself. It required tools to get back into it.

I use this item instead of a lock, great item

Very functional, with a heavy and solid construction. Exactly what I ordered.

Bronze double end bolt snaps used to be inexpensive, but not now. I use these in my dog kennel to hold water buckets, to snap exercise pens together at dogs shows, etc. They have a way of disappearing, like my socks in the washer, and Amazons snaps are an affordable, and very good replacement. The plating looks good, and I believe will be durable.
