Bookkeeper: Easily Manage Your Business Finances

Good product for your company.

I have used this software for years. Both for my husbands towing company, then for my cab company. Yes, it does take a bit of work, but it is SO worth every penny. I have used Quickbooks and while it is fancy, it does not do very well for support. My favorite version is the 2009 version. I upgraded to 2012, but it went down in quality somewhat.

I only gave the software a star because I didnt think that it would register without one. I purchased the software and wanted to import my data from Quickbooks. It didnt work, and gave me an error message that I didnt understand. I contacted Avanquest support, and received a response that was nonsense, and told to contact Intuit support. I dont think that Ananquest intends for their software to work, they just want you to buy it.

Very nice product, a bit lost in getting some things set up properly

Hoping for a 1-time-pay app/software I tried Bookkeeper. While Quicken is robbery on small businesses, it functions sensibly and allows for fairly easy corrections. Bookkeeper requires you to to go through several more steps to do everything, and lord help you if you make a typo. You have to blow up and redo anything you later find an error in. If you require your bookkeeper to use this you might want to bookmark Indeed.com.

If you have computer skills then you could figure this product out. If you have no computer skills just return this item. Instructions are poorly written and interface is not friendly.

Hard to follow and make sure transactions were posting accurately. I can do better manually with a general ledger and sub-ledgers. Obviously my business is small. If I go bigger Ill put more effort into making this work.

Very hard to use

It looked like QuickBooks. I am familiar with that. It is not QB. Taking a bit to get used to.
