Greater than one weekI highly recommend a perch like this in any cage! My birds love it!

> 3 dayvery simple but the space between the bars in my cage and the space between the holes that you use to attach in the cage dont line up so I had to improvise. it’s not the worst thing ever, good for the price.

Greater than one weekSingle screw insert on the one side (that goes with the grain) is too short to hold in such a soft wood (this is just a piece of pine). After it fell out of the original hole, I drilled another - but going with the grain the insert really needs to be longer to be able to hold in a soft wood like pine. Might have worked for what I needed for my bird cage but will never know. I unfortunately wasted $10 on less than a 7 x 7 piece of pine wood.

> 3 dayMy two cockatiels love these perches. I put food on them. Birds use these more for food than theyre dishes. Think its because they can spread it out and pick out what they want to eat. They are durable and stable. Bought another one so each bird has their own perch.

> 3 dayI love it. My bird got sick so I bought this so she doesn’t always have to perch and she can rest her feet. With lots of rest and food healed from her sickness with the help of this platform as well. She is healthy now but still loves to rest on it. Please get a platform for your birds their feet hurt sometimes too!

> 3 dayWelp, I got this for my red crested conure because he has a tendon injury in one of his feet and he was very happy to get it. It seems very well made, sturdy, nice size, and easy to install. All this being said, my boy still wont sit on it after a week, however, he loves to chew it. So....still a winner I guess. Lol. Maybe with time he will start standing/sitting on it.

> 3 dayThis corner perch is great for your birds to relax their feet on. It fits right in the corner of the cage and super easy to put on with one screw.

> 3 dayWe have 3 cockatiels who love to stand on these. They also love to chew them up, so they will last about 6 mos. or so, but if it keeps them happy, then I am happy. They clean fairly easy and they are sturdy. I like that they are just natural soft wood with no finish applied so we do not worry about the birds ingesting something unhealthy. Good product, will continue to buy them. I believe the smell is the natural wood smell. If you have ever been to Home Depot in the lumber dept., It has a similar smell. The birds do not eat the wood they chew off, it just drops to the bottom of the cage. I have ordered these 5 or 6 times, so I know they are safe.

> 3 dayLike other reviewers I will not take a chance and use this with my birds! It absolutely smells like it has been treated with a chemical and it is so strong, fumes actually burns my eyes. I do not know what type of wood it is, so I cannot say whether or not it is cedar as some have mentioned.
