Birds love it. Longer screws would be nice. And it needed a day for the wood smell at air out. Real wood. Sturdy.

My bird got her foot wedged in between the perch and the cage!! She was stuck hanging upside down until I noticed she wasn’t moving. This is very dangerous for small birds. I have a parrotlet for reference.

Overall nice addition, but felt the spacing on the sides - two on one side and one on the other, don’t align with the cage openings if you use a medium size bird cage.

I like the fact that it made of wood and that it was sanded to a a smooth finnish with ni paints or other toxic substances. The smell takes a few weeks to fade away. I had to wait until it finally faded to place it in my birds cage. It is porous ( which is expected since it because it is wood), so I use a bird safe cleaner, and sometimes sanitizing solution (bleach diluted) for some poop or other sticky messes. So the smooth finish makes it easier to clean .

I bought this platform roughly 6 months ago, and am coming back around to report out on it. I have two playful bonded budgies, and they absolutely LOVE hanging out on this. I have a tall flight cage, Im 5 feet, so its a little taller than I am. This was easily installed in one of the corners of the cage, no issues whatsoever. It took maybe a week or so before they would go over to check it out. But now, they love to sit there & chatter to each other. I also will affix a sprig of parsley or some broccoli on the side, to entice them over. They just chill on the platform, having snacks, and gossiping like theyre at the office water cooler, LOL. And I also think its easy to clean -- I just use those bird cage wipes to wipe it down (because yes, they do poop on it). But for me, this was a great purchase. My boys are happy, so I am happy. : )

The Borangs wood bird perch fits snugly into the corner of my birds cage. It is smooth and sturdy.

I hated every part about it. Nothing like what I ordered. Very upset, took nearly 3 weeks to get it and it is not what I ordered. I received a rectangle shaped piece of wood 3 1/2in x 5in. not worth $12.00. Bait and switch came to mind.

The attachment washer plates (not sure what they are called) is for a cage with wires that are closer together. Mine fell after a day, scared her, but she’d shown no interest anyway (greys are picky and easy to scare). Might be great for a smaller cage I think.

Simple enough. I was unable to secure the platform at the inner corner because the holes that are pre drilled in do not fit the .5inch spacing on my cage. Regardless, it still seems pretty sturdy for my small bird to use.
