Greater than one weekVery sturdy and I feel it will last a long time and my laptop is secure. I have a 17 laptop on it and while it hangs over the side a bit, it has no problem supporting it and it does not move. Like other reviewers, I find it stiff to adjust. I have to take the laptop off the stand to make any height adjustments. The good news about that is that the height stays put once there. Can tilt and adjust to almost straight up so can go from nearly flat to higher than face height.
