For years I have used my MacBook Air now while sitting hunched over on the couch. My wife convinced me not to do that anymore. So for my new MacBook Air 2020 I got this stand. I do not type on the laptop while it is on the stand, but use it to elevate it up and use an external mouse and keyboard.

My wife loves this stand. She was tired of leaning over to look and see her tablet. Now its much higher and closer. Nice quality and workmanship. Definitely would buy again.

Got it as a gift for someone else and they love it. Premium quality aluminum alloy stand. As others have said, it can take some effort to adjust (I have to use both hands and set it in my lap), but it adds to sturdiness. No issues with stand changing its position and sturdy enough to type on if necessary.

This is a great sturdy and stable stand. Others have complained that the stand is too stiff but thats something I am thankful for. I dont need to adjust it often so once its in place I am happy it stays firm.

After four months of use, the stand is impossible to adjust and the platform on which to rest the laptop collapses under weight of laptop. There is no way to loosen or tighten the screws that connect the adjustable arms to the base or shelve on which laptop sits, which renders this item useless. Return window closed and no way to reach the company directly to seek replacement. Buyer beware.
