The product itself is fine. The company selling these is fine. People should know, however, that Lysine can have side effects. The following is from Medical News Today: There are reports of an association between lysine supplements and kidney problems, and studies in animals suggest that lysine supplements may increase the risk of gallstones and higher cholesterol. My LDL cholesterol reading in 2021 was 24 points higher than a previous test in 2019 after taking Lysine. There could certainly be other things contributing to the elevation of my LDL level, but as I researched side effects of the new supplements I began since the previous cholesterol test the information on Lysine and cholesterol came up in a search. I will have to stop taking it.

Im taking Lysine for chronically active Epstein Barr Virus. Ive been struggling with trying to take the huge rock-hard pills available from drug and discount stores. I looked here on Amazon for something easy to swallow and found this brand. These capsules are very easy to get down and have no flavor. Im vegetarian so finding veggie capsules was a bonus. Its helped me be more consistent with my doing. Im so happy. Recommended.

I have been taking lysine for a long time. I take a daily dose, but if my system feels out of balance, and gets a little acidic, I amp up the dosage. If I feel the start of a fever blister, I amp up the dosage. I am a vegetarian, and I appreciate that this product has vegetarian capsules. This is a good product, and I plan to continue using it. I used to take 1000 mg tablets of lysine, but they are huge, so I prefer the easier to swallow capsules and being able to modify the dosage more easily.

An amazing product! I use it if I get a cold sore on my lip. It literally cuts the heal time in half! I have used other l-lysine suppliments and this one is by far the best!

I like that I can split the larger dose into two pills, or take a smaller dose with just one. Lysine often comes in huge pills that are hard to swallow.

I was deficient apparently I was loosing my hair like chunks I’ve been taking about 4+ bottles my hair is healthier and longer and stronger my skin is nice and Acne free my immune system is stronger my whole family got sick with strep I kept waiting to get sick but It never got to me ! Easy to take. Repairs skin, especially chapped lips. Took this during chemo to avoid mouth sores. Never suffered from those, which are very common for breast cancer patients.

I need L-lysine for when I feel a fever blister start coming on. Before this product I could not find it in a small enough size to swallow. Finally, now I can take L-lysine without fear of choking. I assume it will work like any other L-lysine Ive taken - Im always amazed that an amino acid can stave off a fever blister! I only take it when I feel a fever blister starting and will take about 3 capsules twice a day. It seems to work.
