BRI Nutrition L-Lysine 180 Servings Per Bottle - Super 500mg Veggie Capsules

All I can say about this product is LOVE, LOVE AND LOVE!! I’m on my second bottle and I will continue to re-order. Lysine is so important for me as I’m someone who in the past has suffered from cold sores, I’ve had this problem since grade school. As an adult I realized they can be triggered by stress and even if I’m sick. For me personally they’ve helped SO MUCH! I think the key is consistency!! Hope this helps someone else, I take 1 every morning & 1 before bed. :)

I was deficient apparently I was loosing my hair like chunks I’ve been taking about 4+ bottles my hair is healthier and longer and stronger my skin is nice and Acne free my immune system is stronger my whole family got sick with strep I kept waiting to get sick but It never got to me ! I think it’s a great product thank you !

The product itself is fine. The company selling these is fine. People should know, however, that Lysine can have side effects. The following is from Medical News Today: There are reports of an association between lysine supplements and kidney problems, and studies in animals suggest that lysine supplements may increase the risk of gallstones and higher cholesterol. My LDL cholesterol reading in 2021 was 24 points higher than a previous test in 2019 after taking Lysine. There could certainly be other things contributing to the elevation of my LDL level, but as I researched side effects of the new supplements I began since the previous cholesterol test the information on Lysine and cholesterol came up in a search. I will have to stop taking it.

Taking L-Lysine has stopped me from getting cold sores and helped lesson my shingle break out. Lysine is an amino acid that cuts the occurrence, severity, and duration of the frequent herpes outbreak. It is great stuff!!! I havent had a cold sore in over a year now and I used to get them every other month or so. Now when I feel a tingle, I take L-Lysine for a few days and the cold sores never break out!! I like to eat foods with lots of L-arginine (Like chicken, nuts, chocolate and cheese) which feeds the herpes virus. So when I eat a lot of those foods, I take one L-Lysine to even me out.

I love that this came so much faster than I expected and I love the quality of the product. I get a cold sore when I get stressed and this definitely stops it in its tracks. I feel that little tingle and down a few of these and it stops. When I know I am going to be in a stressful situation for a while I just take it every morning and every evening. This is a great product at a very good price. It also helps with skin tone so if you are having problems with that, try this. Good company, very responsive.

I have been taking lysine for a long time. I take a daily dose, but if my system feels out of balance, and gets a little acidic, I amp up the dosage. If I feel the start of a fever blister, I amp up the dosage. I am a vegetarian, and I appreciate that this product has vegetarian capsules. This is a good product, and I plan to continue using it. I used to take 1000 mg tablets of lysine, but they are huge, so I prefer the easier to swallow capsules and being able to modify the dosage more easily.

Ive always heard that if you take Lysine every day it can help stop cold sores before they start, so Id been wanting to try it. I get them occasionally. My aunt takes it every day and says she doesnt get them any more. But I couldnt bring myself to do it, because every brand I tried the pills were HUGE and pretty angular, and I nearly choked every time Id try to swallow them. So it was a choice between feeling like I was risking my life and just putting up with cold sores. THESE I can take! Theyre capsules, and fairly normal-sized, and are all very rounded and go down easy! Im taking them every day now. I cant say anything about the results as of yet, since its only been a week, but Im hopeful. If you have been looking for a smaller size lysine supplement, try this, because I suck at taking pills.

This is a high grade supplement and it is fairly priced.

BRI nutrition lysing is not working for me and I will Have to go on my other brand I was using . I like that it was easy to swallow and they were Veggie capsules & Not real big . I am on 2000 Mg every day fighting mouth sores & Watching what I eat & This supplement didn’t help . Good price though !!!

Ive tried a few of the different Lysine brands from Amazon and I like this one the best. Its more expensive than the other ones, but its the smallest lysine pill Ive found. Seems to work fine.
