This little disc performed as advertised. Given how often this type of device tends to underwhelm, I was so pleased to see it not only connect without issue, but connect & function quickly with each following startup of my vehicle. Because of the wireless link between the phone and adapter, there is a delay in command transmission when using car-play, but every command is executed as expected after less than half a second. Not instantly, of course, but not a terrible delay at all. It is the same delay I experience when using my head units bluetooth connection to the phones media playback. This little thing is small, non-intrusive, simple to operate, and worth every penny. Seriously.

Ive had a few similar wireless carplay dongles, and this one seems to work about as well as the others Ive tried - but was slightly more difficult to get set up. The setup process is pretty simple: turn on your car, plug the dongle in where you would normally plug in your phone for wired carplay (and its nice they provide a cable that will work for either kind of USB port your car likely has) then look for the devices name in the Bluetooth settings of your phone. Pair with it, then tell your phone youd like to use it with CarPlay.
