> 3 dayI am a big, big fan of Brother products. You call for tech support and they pick up the phone in 3 rings and really work hard to resolve the issue. I have owned to previous versions of their label makers and this was my first wireless on. I currently have 5 printers on my wireless home network. Anyway, for some reason I could not get the driver to work correctly and with a quick call to tech support we were able to get this printer working flawlessly. The wireless aspect allows me to not have to clump all my printers in one area around my one PC. I would highly recommend this printer.

> 3 dayWhen it works it works GREAT but it is a huge PAIN to install with conflicting instructions. Tech support is spotty, from techs who REALLY know their stuff to complete bozos who contradict each other (you can tell I have contacted Tech Support A LOT. The installation comes with a Utility called P (something) Editor, which is supposed to set your Label sizes. More often than not this editor set label sizes that conflict with the printer which CANNOT be modified! In fact the Editor has a drop down that lists label sizes, which when selected do NOT modify the settings. One label size that is sold by Brother does NOT EVEN FIGURE in the drop down. But when it finally works its great. The latest one I bought STILL DOES NOT WORK because the label size (which is sold by Brother) cannot be set.

> 3 dayPlease read notes. I am now completely happy. Bought extra labels even. The wireless works great. Two computers, two android smartphones. ............... I spent three hours to get this to work wireless. Real Engineers dont wait for tech support. They find it on Google. During install, ptouch lite must be off, WiFi on, and USB cable attached. Could have been a simple NOTE.

> 3 dayMostly works very well and easily. The difficult part is the connection from my laptop to the printer. I experience some trouble getting it to connect properly sometimes. Other than that, once it prints, it prints well and prints quickly. Love the easy cut feature on it. The installing was also quick and easy.

> 3 dayIve had nothing but problems with this. It worked okay for a few months then was hit and miss after that. I had serious connection issues and would randomly stop working. I attempted to get support from the company and the only recommendation they would give is to turn it off and on again.

> 3 dayI dont even know where to start. The serial number isnt where Brothers website says it is, it isnt in the format they say it will be in. The software will not install on my computer with a USB cable attached, it will not install wirelessly. My complete and utter contempt for this poorly documented piece of garbage software cannot be expressed. I have been using computers since 1986 (yes, thats when I wrote my first infinite loop program on a TRS-80 mk3) and I cannot figure out how to install this printer. Your mileage may vary, but I certainly cannot recommend this printer to anyone so long as the current horrible software and utterly contemptible installation instructions are attached. I will be returning it and trying to find a label printer that doesnt suck.

15-06-2025Expect it to work like all my old QL printer. No. it is bad. Once it passed the return period, this thing acts. I thought it is due to paper issue, but nothing helped. I purchased QL-820NWB to test if that is my label file issue or paper or such. Result is that, the QL810W is trash. Everything works flawlessly in the QL-820NWB. Too bad, I cant return this trash anymore.
