Greater than one weekI purchased this as a travel booster seat for my 7 yr old daughter to use in a rental car at Disney. It was easy to roll up in the pouch provided and fit right into her backpack. When we went to the car, it took me under a minute to blow up and install. The red hooks on both sides secured nicely on the male and female ends of the seatbelts. The seat stayed inflated the entire time (10 days) and uninstalled just as quickly, rolling up and going back into her backpack. Now that we own it, we will keep it easily accessible as a spare for any family who wants to take her somewhere to use rather than her bulky Graco seats currently in our cars.

> 3 dayIt was very easy to transport and then to inflate and literally use. Not only that it took up way less space then our other car seat booster especially in smaller backseats and very comfortable according to my little one who had to sit on it.

Greater than one weekBought this for a trip we would need to use ride share often. Worked out perfectly! Very quick to inflate (withing 10 seconds), easy to install and pack up when not in use. I like that it had its own bag. I put the whole thing in a small cross body pack while out and about. It was a great buy and perfect for what we needed it for, without having to worry about the ride sharing have a booster, or lugging our own.

> 3 dayI bought this for my 8 year old while we traveled out of town. It is compact and light weight enough that he carried it in his backpack, inflated in less than a minute, and was easy enough that he could install it on his own (after supervised practice)! The shoulder strap was perfect for bringing the seatbelt to a good spot on his shoulder as well. My son said that it was very comfortable to sit on and it was even tiny enough that we could sit 3 people across (him and two adults) in the back seat of a midsized car. I love that I now have a backup car seat if a friend comes to the house to play or if my son is traveling with someone else. Highly recommend - a great buy!

> 3 dayNeeded as front-facing for my 2-year-old which took up more space and had two more car seats fri the 5 and 7 year olds. To gain the extra space I needed, I got the BubbleBum inflatable seat for the 7-year-old. Love it! I got the extra space and my girl is happy! Very easy to use.

> 3 dayI both like and dislike this booster, so thats why my rating averages out as a 3 star. LIKE Super compact and light weight. I can deflate, roll up and shove into my handbag, and then quickly blow it up again to use when I get to my destination. Cant beat this advantage and this is a big plus over other boosters. Narrow and does not take up much space in the back row. Much easier to use than something like the Safety First Vest, which we also own. (Note the vest can be used from 3 yo up but this Bubble Bum needs to be 40lbs and above) DISLIKE I hate hate hate buckling my 5 yo son into this. The base slides all over the seat, it is clumsy to thread the seat belt through the red buckles (yes even the redesigned buckles), and the buckle that lowers the shoulder belt never stays put. The shoulder belt just keeps sliding up and cutting into my sons neck. Since the bubble bum sits very low we need this adjustment. The seat belt also often slips out of the guide buckles on the bottom too. For this reason my son cannot buckle himself in and I prefer boosters where he can. My son slips right off this seat while we are driving. It just isnt very stable so when he leans over the whole thing slides out of place. Not safe!! Dislike having to put my lips on the red nozzle to blow it up, and the red nozzle is on the back of the booster, and gets dirty from cabs, etc. yuck. And no I dont carry wipes around to clean it. All in all we use this for travel and for quick trips around the city where we get in and out of subways and cabs. But I dont think it is safe (at least not for a 5 yo) for every day use. It is what it is--an inflatable booster and a boon for travel. Dont use it in lieu of a regular car seat for a child.

> 3 dayI had my doubts initially but decided to order this for a trip with our five year old. I’m so glad I did! It worked great and was super convenient. It collapses quickly and is light so I carried it in my carry-on bag and then was able to quickly inflate while waiting for our ride share. It positioned my child appropriately for the seat belt and I was especially impressed with the shoulder strap positioning, which is not even a feature on many normal backless boosters. It was so helpful to not have to worry about ordering and waiting for a car with car seats/boosters.

> 3 dayWhile the concept is lovely for travel, the seat didn’t stay in place. It slid out from underneath my kids butts and proved useless on the first ride in our rental car. We drove straight to a big box store and bought replacement seats with a base that doesn’t slide. Even with the strap in the clips on the sides and the back strap for the shoulder strap, it just gets tangled once the kids started to slide. Just as a note for future buyers: This might be my own poor understanding of the product description and photos, but I had thought the inflatable portion was optional and there was still some structure to the seat. I would have not purchased the seat had I known it doesn’t have any structure aside from the air you put in it.

> 3 dayWe needed something safe and portable for a trip to Europe with our 3.5 year old. Hes huge for his age (42 inches, and 42 lbs.) so he qualifies to use the bubble bum even though he is not 4 years old. It rolls up very compactly and comes with a small drawstring bag for storage. I brought it in my carryon backpack for the flight, and have been carrying a larger purse on excursions so we can bring it around with us. It is so easy and quick to inflate! I bring it out when my husband hails a taxi and in 45 seconds (4 or 5 puffs) its blown up and ready to go! It doesnt take long to slip the seatbelt through all 3 positioning clips, and my son loves sitting on it. Once the cab ride is done its easy to deflate and I roll it up to put back in my purse. I originally bought the Mifold for the trip, but returned it after I realized it was not rated by the IIHS. The bubble bum has been great and I love that the case is included in the price (with the Mifold it was not). As a random side note this also doubled as a pillow on the flight since its reasonably soft with the cover on it. I cant speak to durability as weve only had it for 2 weeks, but I plan to use this for domestic travel now as well vs lugging the high back booster around.
