> 3 dayReally great for traveling! Just roll up in a small bag and put it with your carry on on the plane. It literally inflates / deflates within seconds of blowing it in or out. Super convenient In the rental car on vacation. My 6-year old loved it and was comfortable sitting there. We used it for 2 weeks and it was great! The only thing is, read the instructions as you are not supposed to leave this seat inflated for a long period of time in a hot car. But that wasn’t a problem for me since it inflates so quickly.

> 3 dayUPDATE: Received my replacement seat from Amazon - its the exact same (old) manufacture date (as you can see from the picture of them both together). The only thing Amazon customer service could tell me is that they must not sell many of these, so all their stock is probably dated. Im frustrated with the amazon experience - at the end of the day they say they cant sell a valid product, and theres nothing they will do about it. Bubble bum suggested they could help me, so I reached out to them, but they havent yet replied to my email. So I still have no car seat! So I love this car seat - my problem is with the dated stock Amazon is selling. I owned one of these a couple of years ago, for my daughter. She loved it, it was all good. But my son didnt like the color (which is fair enough, it was very pink and hes 8). My son is now essentially out of a booster seat, but hes not quite the right height to ride without one. We were in a bad car accident once, and it only takes the ones to realize how important car seats and booster are. So yes, I am purchasing this for my 8.5 yr old! We first purchased one in November, for an international trip we were taking. It worked wonderfully - so simple and light to pack, great for moving in and out of various rental cars. However, while moving it around I glanced at the back - and realized it was already 1.5 years old/past manufacturing date. As most people who use them know, car seats have expiry dates (this is 4 years). So Id already lost over 25% of the use of the seat. I returned it, Amazon refunded my money. Were about to take another trip, and besides, my son really likes this car seat. He especially likes that its discrete. I like that I can easily move it to fit another (older) kid in the car. I was disappointed to discover that the one I received yesterday was almost a year old - thats going right back! I called Amazon and explained the situation. Theyre going to send me another (3rd times a charm?). But the lady on the phone explained that although the seats are sold by Amazon directly, theres nothing she can do to ensure theyre new stock. So Im going to give it one more go, and Ill update in a couple of days. But I suggest buying from a store where you can see the expiration date and check youre not getting old stock.

> 3 dayAs a parent of three kids (5, 3 and 18 months) Im faced with the oh-too-familiar problem of finding a way to fit three child car seats in the back of my vehicle. I have a mid-sized SUV with one row of back seats and - with my 5-year-old about to graduate into a booster - I knew fitting three seats side-by-side would be an issue. I was initially skeptical about the BubbleBum because it seems such a small, inconsequential and inadequate proposition. But Im pleasantly surprised to report that my expectations were completely unfounded. First off the size and portability is unbeatable. I was concerned that it would be too awkward to function as a booster seat for long-journeys, but my five-year-old is completely comfortable sitting on it. It sits - with ample room to spare - between two other childs car seats and there is plenty of space. Buckling in and out is easy. Just guide the regular lap-belt portion of your cars standard seatbelts through the two red guide clips, and youre done. This literally takes seconds to do and is far less complicated than I feared from reading some of the descriptions online. Set-up was also super-easy. Just blow-it up like a balloon, insert the air-stopping valve and youre done. The added bonus is that the BubbleBum also serves as a portable option - so if your child is traveling in a different car.....or if you need something for a taxi or a rental car.....its extremely portable.

> 3 dayI purchased this seat to travel with after a plane trip. It was light weight and easy to pack. The seat is soft, but it slid a little bit when my 5 yo grand daughter climbed onto the seat, making the seat belt buckling challenging. The seat slid over the buckle attachment every time she climbed in, so I ended up pulling her to the side to access the buckle. We put her in the center of the back seat of a Subaru Forester. The seat feels comfortable enough to carry into restaurants to use as chair booster.

> 3 dayI like that this product is very, light, easy, and very handy. We used it when we travel and needs to use uber or lyft. What i dont like it is its too low a little higher and bigger would have been great. By the way my daughter used this when we went to Disney world and had to wait for the parade. She was able to use this to seat on the pavement.

> 3 dayGreat for short trip carpooling to keep in trunk in a pinch as it fits between any full size carseat/booster. A star off as not a great belt positioner for backrow middle seatbelt from car ceiling.

> 3 dayWe used this for quick Uber rides on vacation and it was amazing! Easy to set up and comfortable (from what I’ve heard) It is small enough to pack in a carry on bag as well and the stretch bag for packing is also a plus!

> 3 dayI bought this for my 8 year old while we traveled out of town. It is compact and light weight enough that he carried it in his backpack, inflated in less than a minute, and was easy enough that he could install it on his own (after supervised practice)! The shoulder strap was perfect for bringing the seatbelt to a good spot on his shoulder as well. My son said that it was very comfortable to sit on and it was even tiny enough that we could sit 3 people across (him and two adults) in the back seat of a midsized car. I love that I now have a backup car seat if a friend comes to the house to play or if my son is traveling with someone else. Highly recommend - a great buy!

> 3 dayI am giving this five stars because it does what I think it is designed to do: serves as a stopgap measure when no other option is available. This is no way is adequate for anything other than short rides when you cannnot carry a proper booster seat. We used it for four cab rides - one to hotel from airport, one back to airport from hotel and two short urban cab rides while in city we were visiting. It does not boost very high, slides easily and can position seatbelt appropriately with some care and attention while child focuses on not moving around much. Both the seat, and the child on the seat, and the belt positioner move around easily and children need to focus to make sure everything is in the right place. If you cannot carry a regular booster seat with you this is a good tool to make sure that rides are safer. But you should never consider this a replacement for a booster seat for regular travel that extends beyond short trips. Our son is eight and about 58 pounds and still requires a belt positioner to have everything at the correct height. I included picture from three cab rides. The belt positioner should be lower in third picture. It was the first time I used it and did not have height correct. Good for travel conundrums or very short rides where regular seat is difficult or impossible to manage. Requires help by adult installing seat and positioning things correctly but also cooperative child who will sit still.
