I have purchased two packages of L-Citrulline Powder from BulkSupplements, several months apart. I was impressed with the quality of the first package, but was surprised when the second package had a completely different consistency and solubility than the first. I have always been inherently distrustful of the supplement industry due to lack of regulation and the fact that most supplements are made in China where they care little about ensuring safety and quality of ingredients (anyone else remember the melamine in milk scandal?), so it is vital to find a supplement producer that employs its own safety checks to deliver a consistently high-quality product. I thought BulkSupplements was such a supplier, but with the variation Im seeing between two packages, now Im not so sure. I contacted BulkSupplements shortly after opening the bag, in order to report the problem I was seeing with the product, but the customer rep I corresponded with flat out refused to address my concerns. They claim that their #1 priority is for their customers to be 100% satisfied, but this is simply not true. Its a shame because I was a repeat customer and had recommended their brand to several friends. But now, I will likely steer clear of BulkSupplements and I will warn others as well. Study after study shows that most supplements are adulterated with contaminants and dont contain what the label says it does, so customers must be vigilant to only do business with companies that stand fully behind their products and maintain the utmost commitment to quality. BulkSupplements failed to meet that bar. Note the fine print of the return policy on their website, which is not mentioned at all on the Amazon site, nor in the follow-up emails to the customer. Notice how little they stand behind opened products. This policy is the telltatle sign of a company that doesnt want to have to refund customers for products that a customer discovers are of poor quality. Stay away.

Fast shipping, looks like a quality product though I havent taken it yet. Got L citrulline, beta alanine and niacin. My only issue Ive noticed since opening is the bag... With any really find powders like L citrulline, since the tamper seal is closed but the zip lock is open, powder had gotten pushed into the crease of the zip lock making it impossible to close. I took a bottle brush to clean it out a little, but ended up transferring to a fresh bag because I couldnt guarantee it would stay sealed. Its possible that I just got a defective bag which is no big deal, but if its a common occurrence I Would highly suggest finding a different sealing method for these, it is an inconvenience having to label and transfer such a fine powder to a different container, and Im afraid of spilling it everywhere. Otherwise quality product,and will purchase again. Thanks!

Baldness, obesity, and cancer seem to be modern diseases brought on by ignorance (To get out of ignorance: Documentaries: Fed Up, Bought, Sick, Fat, and Nearly Dead and The Truth about Cancer are very much worth watching).

I have used L-Citrulline for years, from different brands and different combinations. I get this because its easier and dramatically more cost-effective buying just the bulk powder and mixing it into your drink of choice. It also doesnt taste nearly as bad as a lot of other supplement powders Ive tried, so thats a nice bonus. I have used this companys products before, and the quality has always been solid and this product here is no different. It is exactly as described and thats it, its a bulk bag of pure L-Citrulline powder, NOT L-Citrulline DL-Malate, which is a mix that is often used in lieu of pure L-Citrulline that people sometimes overlook. This is the good stuff if youre looking to increase your vascularity, muscle endurance, and increase bodily blood flow as well, so whether its increased lifts in the gym, better performance in the bedroom, or just improved cardiovascular health, this stuff works. Not gonna lie, its gotta be one of my fav supplements I have tried and continue to take.

L-Citrulline is found in watermelon, which supplies a hefty dose of vitamin C, potassium, and this stuff. I grew up spending my summers swimming and having watermelon with friends and family, and I always attributed an afterward elated feeling to the sun-and-fun day, but now Im getting older (40) and finding that the watermelon is primary, because I swim less and spend less time in the sun, but I still eat a lot of the watermelon when we get together. I researched the ingredient unique to watermelon and found this stuff. All I can say is that this stuff is a good mood elevator, and Ive never needed to try Viagra, but Ive found that this stuff has at times created an insatiable desire to get busy with the wife. Since Ive started taking this, I feel more like a teenage boy again with a primal sex drive. This exact supplement isnt nearly as effective for that effect as the watermelon/bikini swim party days (which is why it got four stars :-), but I definitely feel a stronger sexual appetite than I have in a long time. I mix this with a morning tea/protein shake and a nighttime tea. It tastes fine and dissolves nicely. Quick delivery and quality product!

As others have mentioned, the flavor is foul, but easily covered if placed in a smoothie. I usually just mix in one ounce of water (along with l-arginine as some of the research shows that they work better together than either one alone), mix til dissolved, then just chug it down in a single swallow. I use it for pre-workout and to decrease blood pressure (it increases nitric oxide thereby causing vasodilation). My workouts have improved (although this may just be placebo effect). My systolic BP has definitely decreased by six points and the diastolic has decreased by four points (from my research, it’s definitely better to decrease the diastolic pressure as this is the “resting” pressure your body exerts on the heart). As a great side effect, my wife likes the effects also (remember that “the blue pill” works by increasing the release of nitric oxide just like this product)! Hope this helps

L-Citrulline increases levels of nitric oxide as effectively as L-Arginine. 60% of L-Arginine is removed and used by the intestines and liver, but not L-Citrulline, so 3 grams incrases nitric oxide as,much as 6 grams of L-Arginine. L-Arginine tastes like dirty gym socks. L-Citrulline powder has no taste and disolves in water, making it easy to take every day. There are other advantages of L-citrulline too numerous to list here, and there is no more affordable source than bulksupplements.com. At 3 grams per day, this supplement can last me about a year. I have a bottle with a flip top I fill up that is more convenient than the large bulk zip top bag, and I fill the bottle as necessary. The zip lock bag makes it easy to pour without needing a funnel. It is a great supplement and the price is unbeatable for this amount of supplement. I will order another next year or when I run out.

Sour taste. For ketogenic diet. When used with mct oil. Can feel fat burning effect. Also think it helps with recovery from workout.

Just started using it, seems to be pretty good. Really good price but my only concern was that the package was torn at the corners. It looks like it was damaged during shipping so the part where you can tear on both corners had powder spilling all over. Not too sure if this was intentional or not but it made a mess when I first opened it. Otherwise the product seems to be a good value for the price.I’m a little concerned on the quality since I’m not sure how long it was opened but we’ll see.
