B&W Fifth Wheel Hitch Lifting Device

This tool makes pulling and setting my hitch a breeze.

Faced with the prospect of always needing 2 people to emplace/remove hitch in truck bed, this simple device (combined with an inexpensive ceiling hoist (SuperHandy Manual Chain Block Hoist)), makes installing a B&W hitch a breeze. Im now able to remove my hitch in the off season, reinstall when next i need it.

Works perfectly and I do not have to manually lift the 5th wheel hitch out of the truck. Same for reinstalling! When I get the lift and storage setup it will be even better.

I have a rig setup in my garage to pull the hitch out of the back of my truck and this device makes it easy to lift the whole ensemble without breaking it apart. Lock it in and hook it up to a block and tackle.

I bought this to use with my shop hoist typically used to pull engine. With this device I can roll hoist up to truck rear tailgate down, in and hook to directly pull B&W Companion, foll out the sit on rack I built on wheels to store. No more struggling with my back to pull. This is perfect and worth the money. To use it you will need to be able to back under a chain hoist or use shop hoist.

Great idea! Surprised no one thought of this sooner. Makes installation and removal of hitch assembly much easier if you have a lifting device. Well made, reasonably priced, prompt delivery.
