> 24 hourI hate how these look, and if you need to access whatever youre child-proofing in a hurry, youll be hard pressed to get it quickly (takes two hands, can be tricky to get off). That said, they ARE effective at keeping my two year old out of stuff. My 4 year old is days away from figuring it out though. Just one stop on the baby proofing arms-race - might help you win a battle, wont help you end the war.

> 24 hourThese do work to lock cabinets and are easy to get on and off. I bought them because I was using rubber bands around the knobs of my cabinet doors to keep my very curious cat out of them. I was tired of hearing the thump, thump, thump as he tried to open the doors. I thought these would lock the doors more tightly. They didn’t. There was just as much play with these as there was with the rubber bands. So, I am returning these and sticking with rubber bands, which are less visually obtrusive and don’t have any pieces to them. I can see sliding off the locking end of one of these, setting it on the counter top and having the cat get into it while my back is turned, either knocking it across the floor or turning it into a chew toy.

> 24 hourI bought this to keep my grandson out of the cabinet under the sink in the kitchen. It works great, and the cost was good. I would recommend this.

> 24 hourWe bought multiple packs, and 3 of the 9 we have used are already cracking (see photos) after only a couple of months of use. Theyre all cracking in the same spot - a spot that kids cant break unless theyve figured out the whole contraption. And our kids havent figured it out, so only adults have used this part. Basically, thats a major weakness in the product and it wont last as long as it should. We are still using it, but I dont anticipate it lasting past when my oldest kid figures out how this works.

> 24 hourThese were exactly what I needed to keep my 1 year old out of our cabinets. Plus it’s easy to open when I need to get in. Definitely recommend.

> 24 hourThese little things are GREAT! I wish I had gotten them long ago as it would have saved us a ton of trouble with our now two year old. We use one in the stand alone pantry and in in the bathroom. We have two extras and will likely take them all with us to the in-laws in Wisconsin when we visit for Christmas. You can tighten them by sliding the middle piece more to the left, or have it looser so it’s easier to slide off.

> 24 hourThese are easy to use. I like the thinness of them as it allows for use with a variety of knobs/handles, though they do work better with handles.

> 24 hourThese were super easy to install. No drilling required. Theyre tricky for my eight-year-old to open, impossible for toddler to open, and easy for me to open. The only downside is that I need to find a non-drilling solution for the cabinets and drawers that dont have handles close together.
