Camco 39085 Rhino Blaster Pro Holding Tank Rinser w/Gate Valve

This worked great the first 2 times I used it. On the 3rd time the ball valve for the freshwater side blew off and poo water started spraying out of it. I ended up finding the valve and the Orrington holding the valve in place was split. The screw was also missing. This caused that valve to fail and blow out of water connection. Amazon did send a label for a refund. I plan to replace it now that I know what I need to check on the valves.

So...draining Black and Grey tanks are a chore. Not only do you have to watch everything so you dont get sprayed but you have to wash the lines and tanks when done. Usually that means a hose down the toilet filling and draining. Not anymore. This not only provides a clear view of whats going down but with the hose pipe connection you can do a wash down without dragging the hose into the camper. I drain my tanks. Shut off the drain, shut off the grey, but leave the black open. Turn on the water and go inside the camper. Monitor black tank level and when 3/4 full Ill go back outside. Shut off the hose pipe and drain the black tank. Do this 3 or so times and its nothing but clear water. Ive not actually climbed inside the black tanks to see how well this is working on sticky bits but it appears to be doing exactly what it advertises.

This model has a much larger incoming water path than the other brands Ive tried. I use this along with a water meter to backfill/clean the tanks in our 5th wheel. With the other brands, it took much too long to fill the tanks, due to a very small hole in the incoming water valve. This one allows a lot more flow and fills the tanks faster, making the job easy.

When you drain your tanks, there is always residual liquid in the outlet pipe. With this, close the gate valve and NEVER get unexpected drips in the compartment.
