Camco 39085 Rhino Blaster Pro Holding Tank Rinser w/Gate Valve

I tow a Jayco 224BH and on that model there is no tank wash/spray system. I ordered this for mid and end of season tank clean outs. It works amazing! I thought my tank was clean but then used this. I was able to do three more 1/3 tank Flushes before the water was clear! I used the adapter for 6 trips this year and it worked flawless each time. Two of those trips I used it for cleaning out the tank. I’m very happy with this purchase and hope to get a lot of use out of it.

I cant believe I debated about buying this thing. After using it the first time, I realized I should never have hesitated. My trailer was purchased used and is only 2 years old, so I didnt expect any real problems. I try to manage my black tank well, never leaving the valve open and always making sure theres a sufficient volume of water to really help get a good velocity going when I dump it. The first time I used this though, I could not believe how much... ahem... crap... I was still getting out of the tank. I filled and flushed, filled and flushed, over and over and kept getting more stuff out every time. On the EIGHTH flush cycle, I got a big slug of toilet paper pass out of the tank. I just dont see how youd ever get a black tank fully emptied without this, and how youd know even if you did. Yeah, its kind of a dirty job - but this makes it a successful effort instead of a guessing game.

The idea behind this product is great, but this particular one isnt the highest quality. Ive used it a handful of times now, and noticed that the seal isnt water tight in some spots. The orange connector that locks onto the RV exit valve seems to have a small leak, and much worse, the ball valve for the water/flush hose doesnt have any sort of seal on it. I always have the water connector facing up and my black and grey water never flowing through it enough to have anything come out, but when I connect up my hose and and back flush into the tanks, I can turn that ball valve off, and water will still continue flowing into the tanks through it. I had an extra ball valve so I connect that to my hose before connecting the hose to this product, but without that, black water could potentially flow back into my hose and even up into the water supply at the dump station. Maybe I just got a bad one that didnt get the seals checked properly, and now Im past the time to be able to return it, so I guess Im out of luck. Bottom line: Pros: Love the idea, convenient to be able to back flush to rinse and clear the black water tank, easy to use. Cons: Cheap material, all plastic, seals dont seem to seal the water in, and you may need to purchase an extra ball valve.

My dump valve isn’t closing all the way and I used this valve to stop the leaking. I leave the primary valve open and close this one so I can keep the tank level up to dissolve waste. I should replace the dump valve but it is a major operation just to get to it.

One of my favorite, must have RV upgrades. Firstly it allows you to remove the drain cover and not have any leakage when attaching the sewer hose. Second it allows for an alternate means to flush grey and secondary tanks that dont have a built in SaniFlush port. Last, it allows you to observe the quality of the tank drain and flush process. Will be a must have on my RVs.

Worked great, had to fill up tank about 4-5 times though to clean completely so it took longer than expected but I am happy with it.

Dont know why we never ran across this item when we first started with an RV. This helps a lot with cleaning out the tanks. Works like it should. Make sure the tank door is open or it will spray everywhere.

This connector is awesome. I am able to clean the tank in my truck camper and the clear tube lets you know when it’s clean by the clear water flowing through it. The valve shut off is each to use. The whole thing connects and disconnects easily. It was a good purchase.

Does allow flushing and backfilling on the black and grey tanks, but the ball valve failed the first time I used it. I was able to use it correctly after adding another ball valve in line, but being that this is for sewage it wasn’t confidence inspiring.
