Camco Portable Toilet with Seat and Cover, 5 Gallons, Blue (41549)

I purchased the Camco bucket and lid together for $18.66 in Dec 2019--great product. Used it several weeks ago when we were returning our 5 year-old granddaugter home, trying to give Mom a break with school out. A several hour-long trip and she used it a couple of times in lieu of using rest stop facilities that seemed more crowded than usual. No issues--popped in a plastic bag and filled the bottom with scented kitty litter--no muss, no smell except kitty litter fragrance. ***CAVEAT EMPTOR***I got ready to purchase another despite the increase in price, but as I looked more closely at the description I realized that what I was about to purchase for $26.49 was only the lid and three plastic bags--NO BUCKET. Look very closely at the description before you purchase. If all you need is the lid then this may be fine, although perhaps a touch expensive for what you are getting.

They do what is advertised very well.

Yo! There is a song in New Orleans, part of it says, There aint no place to pee on Mardi Gras Day! This coupled with the Pottty pop up tent in green absolutely solves that problem. If you need a potty for ANY reason this is the way to go. I saw HUNDREDS of these on the parade routes this year. I bought it for camping on my property but have found it to be useful all over.

Worked perfectly. Only thing I did not like was the powder/chemical in the bags has a terrible smell before and during use.

This is a life saver! My husband is a truck driver and I got this for the times he sleeps in his truck and isn’t near a restroom. He said he was very impressed. He used it with the bags it comes with and they seal better than a ziplock. Of course the aroma of poo may linger in the air for a little bit, but at least your tummy will be happy!

Comfortable seat. Easy to clean. I should have bought this years ago. Great for the boat, camping, picnics or anywhere a bathroom is not easily accessible

Camping alone in a tent with my dogs meant that I would not be able to get up during the night to pee in the bushes. They would have started whining if I left the tent. So I ordered this toilet. I saw a video on a van life site in which the people used this toilet. They suggested putting it in a milk crate. That was the perfect solution for the toilet being kind of tippy. Also the bags that come with this toilet are very inventive and I felt very secure in closing them up. I was not at worried about it leaking.One suggestion I have, that I wish someone had told me. Do not let the toilet sit in the tent in the hot sun!

The lid does not close no matter what I try. It pops up. The seat is why I purchased this. So now I cannot seal it.

I got one despite my girlfriend not wanting one. But I knew wed use it. The bathrooms are a hike away when we went camping... it got into the 40s at night and she needed to go. Lifesaver none the less!
