Camco Portable Toilet with Seat and Cover, 5 Gallons, Blue (41549)

I got one despite my girlfriend not wanting one. But I knew wed use it. The bathrooms are a hike away when we went camping... it got into the 40s at night and she needed to go. Lifesaver none the less!

Worked out for a few days of emergency while I fixed my toilet. Not super comfortable but the seat helps

I love that this bucket cradles the poop real nice. The pee does not go on the ground, instead you pee in bucket. Great way to keep your poops for later reflection. Sometimes I poop in this just because I can, even my toilet is around. Even the toughest outdoor pooper will appreciate the lack of a place to sit while unleashing the fecal devastation that pooping while camping can sometimes bring. Every poop matters, give it a place to go.

Camping alone in a tent with my dogs meant that I would not be able to get up during the night to pee in the bushes. They would have started whining if I left the tent. So I ordered this toilet. I saw a video on a van life site in which the people used this toilet. They suggested putting it in a milk crate. That was the perfect solution for the toilet being kind of tippy. Also the bags that come with this toilet are very inventive and I felt very secure in closing them up. I was not at worried about it leaking.One suggestion I have, that I wish someone had told me. Do not let the toilet sit in the tent in the hot sun!

I like this product best when going on overnight hikes. Very sturdy material - no problems with leaks. Well made and thought through product. Works great in bucket systems and potty chair set ups as well when doing a week long camp out. Highly recommend this although wish it were less pricey.

This is great. I keep it in my tent while camping so I don’t have to get out of the tent and walk anywhere in pitch black. It’s nice that the lid snaps so if it gets knocked over you don’t have to worry about it and no smell.

Haven’t used yet. Got after we were w/o power for days recently. No power no pump/no toilet flush. This will come in handy too if you go for a drive or trip and need to go. Your own portable pooper bucket. Everyone gets a kick out of me calling it the “Pooper Bucket”

I off road to very remote camping spots. I don’t like to leave anything behind. These are great for neatly keeping your waste secured and packing back out of the wilderness. No leaks, no mess, no odors!!

The toilet seat is two inches. One might consider putting a rock in the bottom of the bucket so not to tip over.

This is a life saver! My husband is a truck driver and I got this for the times he sleeps in his truck and isn’t near a restroom. He said he was very impressed. He used it with the bags it comes with and they seal better than a ziplock. Of course the aroma of poo may linger in the air for a little bit, but at least your tummy will be happy!
