> 3 dayIm typically slow to leave a bad review because even the best most expensive items can be defective. This is a good idea and I believe any RVer should use one, but... The clear hose is not firmly attached to the valve body. It slips off very easily. Several time in various fresh tank fill ups, the valve and hose popped out of the clear hose and Ive gotten soaked. In the absence of small hose clamps Ive put a zip tie on it which has tightened it a bit, but this is a design issue. I cant believe that many others havent had this issue. There should be some type of barbs or a clamp fastening the clear hose to the body. On the positive side, the shut off valve seals well with no leaks.

> 3 dayHad to use it last weekend when the RV resort asked everyone to disconnect from the spigot due to below freezing temps. Very easy to fill the freshwater tank and the clear hose let’s you see when it’s full. The valve is handy to shut it off at the tank without spraying water everywhere while walking back to the spigot.

> 3 dayWorks great with the small exception its not durable meaning the clear tubing CAN come off the yellow base, inside the RV filler tube (but luckily it didnt), SO youll need to glue the clear tube to the yellow base...BEST to use Gorilla Glue - works amazingly well! Only rub is that it can still kink when making the arc into the RV filler tube - other than that, works as stated; strong and effective kill switch.

> 3 dayPerfect for filling stuff, such as my campers fresh-water tank, via a garden hose. Its low-cost and low-tech, but works as you should expect. Super-Handy to keep in the camper.

> 3 dayGreat for filling your fresh water RV tank. These are needed for filling travel trailer water tanks, as filling too quickly causes the fill tube to overflow, making it appear that your tank is full. Then when you arrive at your destination the tank is soon empty, because it was only partially filled. Although there are easy ways to verify the tank level before you go, such as checking the tank monitors, visually inspecting the tank underneath, there are countless posts on the net of people thinking their tank was full, or being unable to fill it because it overflows. This is because you need to slowly fill them to allow air to escape. This hose allows you to restrict the fill rate with the valve on the nozzle, plus the tube diameter is smaller than the fill tube, allowing air to escape. Well worth the low price for me.

> 3 dayEver since my fresh water tank was removed and replaced due to a repair, I have had a very hard time filling the tank. I would immediately get a back-flow that prevented the tank from filling. The Camco Water Tank Filler has solved that problem. I can regulate the flow with the shut-off valve and get just the right flow of water. The long flexible plastic hose can be inserted far enough into the tank to avoid back-flow. Just perfect!
