Great for filling your fresh water RV tank. These are needed for filling travel trailer water tanks, as filling too quickly causes the fill tube to overflow, making it appear that your tank is full. Then when you arrive at your destination the tank is soon empty, because it was only partially filled. Although there are easy ways to verify the tank level before you go, such as checking the tank monitors, visually inspecting the tank underneath, there are countless posts on the net of people thinking their tank was full, or being unable to fill it because it overflows. This is because you need to slowly fill them to allow air to escape. This hose allows you to restrict the fill rate with the valve on the nozzle, plus the tube diameter is smaller than the fill tube, allowing air to escape. Well worth the low price for me.

Excellent. I would never fill my tank without one of these. We bought our very first camper and this was one of the things I saw in the what other people buy list when I was buying wheel chocks. I am so so so so glad I bought this. While filling my tank for the VERY first time I hooked it up to the potable water springy thing and put it in the tank and didnt have to hold it or anything. The older gentlemen next to me who looked like he had been camping for a while did not have this. He put the hose in the mouth of his filler neck and thought it would hold. He let go of it and the hose let go and due to the spring on the blue potable water dispenser it whipped the hose threads right into the side of his camera. I dont know if it dented it but it definitely made a good thud and he looked embarrassed. Thanks amazon for helping me impulse buy something that is actually really awesome!

This is a handy little adapter which makes the job easier and convenient for two reasons. The on off valve greatly lessens the chances of spraying water everywhere or on yourself. The vinyl tube fits down into the filler neck and when added with the metal attachment clip (sold separately) can be hooked to the filler neck and walk away while it fills. Highly recommended!

Pretty much exactly what you expect will be what you get when buying this. A nice cheap fitting that makes filling the fresh water tank on my trailer much easier.

Most newer RV’s have a cap opening for fresh tank water fill, this spout threads on to fresh water hose & slides into hole, also lets you control water fill.

I like that this has a open/close valve, but the clear hose is too short to leave in place without holding it. Unattended, it will sometimes slide out and fall to the ground or the clear hose will kink under the weight of the fresh-water hose. I am whining. It works well still.
