> 3 dayWe have an older vintage trailer and the water fill really needs one of these. We like everything about it except its tendancy to fold or kink and stop the flow. It needs to be watched to assure that there is free flow of the water into the tank. On our trailer the water fill makes a right turn and that is where it kinks. We may modify it avoid this. If your inlet is a straight shot this would be perfect for the job. It is about 9 inches long and made with a 5/8 lead free plastic. There is a control valve to keep the flow speed within an acceptable range. We like this valve control as it keeps waste to a minimum. No over spill if flow is too much, just turn the rate down a little. It does allow for a quicker fill rate as the fill hose can allow air to escape around the tube. The fitting screws onto any normal garden hose. It does the job and makes filling much easier and we would purchase it again if we needed knowing this shortfall on our rig..

21-11-2024After reading all the reviews where people said the hose came off when they used it, causing it to go into their water tank, I made sure to check it before I used mine. I pulled on the end and it came right off. I slipped it back on and used a hose clamp to secure it to ensure it wouldn’t fly off and end up in my water tank. The hose itself is of decent quality, but the shut off valve material is cheap plastic that I doubt will hold up well with continued use. It does have a 5/8” hose, which should be ample to fill the tank, but you don’t get that full capacity because the flow is restricted by the opening of the ball valve, maybe 1/4 or 1/3 the volume of the hose. This barely makes filling easier. After a while the water backed up and started gurgling out. I would have to close the valve, let it sit for a couple of seconds, then start again. I didn’t have to hold it the entire time, but it couldn’t be left unattended. This will technically work, but make sure to install a hose clamp BEFORE using. Wouldn’t recommend.

> 3 dayWe bought this item based upon a recommendation from our Wolf Pup Owners RV Facebook group. We were told that it could be attached to a potable water hose and used to fill our RVs freshwater tank.. The length of the clear tubing helps eliminate the vapor lock that prevents a freshwater tank from filling all the way. This item worked perfectly for us. One caution - we put a hose clamp at the top of the clear plastic tubing to make sure that possible excessive water pressure didnt blow the tube off and into our freshwater tank where we would never be able to retrieve it. That seemed to work best for us.

> 3 dayOther reviewers complained that the tube bent under the weight of the water flow, but it worked just fine for me. I was looking for an easier way to fill my camper water tank, and this worked just fine. It wasnt very expensive, so the value was fine for me.
