had a problem from my new pi 4 with 4 gig ram running android Os, the system was drawing some power so it would randomly shut off for no apparent reason. Took a min to figure out but all you need is a real power supply not a usb charger it will not work. Your Pi will actually run hotter with a phone charger adapter. Hope this helps someone, power is everything....

I use this to power a Raspberry Pi 4, and when the Pi 4 is turned off I use this to charge my cellphone directly since it is also powered by USB-C. Simple, robust, and able to provide rated power without throwing complaints.

I built a couple nas boxes using pi4s. Some are using 4 bay external hard drive enclosures, which come with their own beefy power supply and I printed an adapter and bought an SATA power cable extension so that I could tap the 5v from there. Those boxes never get throttled.

This adapter came with a kit I bought from Canakit and I constantly get undervoltage messages. I have a keyboard and official raspberry Pi display connected to the Pi 4, and thats it.

A great power supply for the new Raspberry Pi 4 which requires more power and a different plug. A well known name so it should be dependable. I highly recommend this product as it works great.
