> 24 hourI LOVE this bag. The way it looks, the way it feels, the way it works, etc.. Im a Folklorist and have been using this bag for over ten years-ish. I always have about three unopened back-up duplicates. I love it so much! Now understand I beat the crap out of my bag/s because Im actually using them to carry field notes, books, books, and more books, my lap top, and Brass Knuckles, you know the basics. I usually go through a bag a year. But I dont mind because they last longer and look better than any other bag out there. This bag has seen me through some pretty hairy folkloric situations... Buy it!

> 24 hourThe bag is a lot smaller than I expected, but should work for me as a work bag. I would prefer a little wider, but an 8x11 notebook does fit, along with my wallet, a bag of coffee, and a few meds I may need during my 12 hour shift. I do wish the smaller outer pockets had a way to more securely close them, the large flap over isnt secure for small items (pens, motrin bottle).

> 24 hourWhile this bag is good looking, it has one major flaw. The inside zipper does not close the bag opening completely from side to side, and there are a couple of inches of opening on each side. The over flap is about the same size as the inside zipper and, therefore, leaving open space on each side.

> 24 hourI have had this bag two days and I love it! Side pockets hold mobile and camera; front pocket has wallet, tissues, lipstick and is secure when flap is snapped. Zippered area inside holds day timer, small notebook, medications, and large inside can hold hat, scarf, gloves, shopping bag, paperback. Very well made and looks rustic AND classy. I think is my new it bag. Look up the Gootium company and see what the name stands for; you will be glad to have it visible and explain it the curious. Also look up the Latin word, otium. Good word!
