First things first, this product has already done its job. My little granddaughter took a header and bonked her head on my fireplace. The cushion saved the day, she is fine. The product is easy to cut, looks nice, and provides peace of mind. My only complaint is, it could stick better than it does, I am considering buying a roll of double-back tape to keep it in place.

This product offers peace of mind with my grandchild in our home. The foam is dense and comes with double sided tape that is fairly sticky. I say fairly because my grandchild has removed a section. It arrives with corner pieces and the rest is in sections, not a roll. I would have preferred a roll, to customize my hearth instead of having to add such a small piece (as shown in the photo).

This product is exactly what we needed to protect our granddaughter from the rough edges of the hearth. The pieces are easy to fit together and adhere well to the brick. I will most likely buy another for our other fireplace. Excellent purchase!!

The rubber is nice and easy to cut to get it right. After cutting mine to fit, I flipped the pieces upside down, and without uncovering the factory adhesive, I taped the pieces together from the back side, to make one solid edge cover. It fits good, it looks good, and its heavy enough to stay put without using the adhesive to hold it in place.

PERFECT!! I read so many reviews for different protection options for fieplaces.. This stays put, looks nice. We chose brown and it blends nicely with my Grandfathers brick fireplace. Now he can stop worrying himself to pieces and enjoy our company!

These fireplace bumpers were a perfect fit for our fireplace. However the adhesive works well enough to stick them on there but not well enough to keep little fingers from pulling them right off. I would have liked to see a non-permanent stronger mounting system. We ended up sticking a baby gate in front of the fireplace to prevent access to the bumpers. If I was to do it again I probably would not have gone this route. I think this product is a great idea but it probably needs to be more of custom fit thing that covers the whole top of the fireplace instead. For the price they are not that far off if you look at the cost of buying foam - its expensive.

Exactly what I was looking for- ease of mind protecting my toddler from hitting her head.
