I always prefer bulk, but this is great for rodents smaller than guinea pigs.

wow this stuff is really pretty & works great. we try to change hamster cage fully every week. this really keeps any smell down & they love it. in past used the wood chips but never again. only this product.

I have been using this for a month for my guinea pigs. I have 2 pigs in a 2x3.5 C&C cage. I line the bottom with fleece but I do have a kitchen and a separate sleeping area that I use very small pans in. I started using the pans because I noticed the pigs mostly did their business in those two areas, so using the pans along with the carefresh, I could make clean up a bit easier. Fleece bedding is expensive and a pain to lug to the laundromat for washing. The product is soft and my pigs do enjoy the feel of it. It is messing for my purposes because it does get outside of the pans. But I have a handheld vacuum to suck up those pieces and also their poo during clean up. I love the fact that clean up is so much easier. I simply empty the items from the pans into the trash can. I do have to say the 10 day no smell in the description is false. I can go about 3 days at most for both pigs before you notice it needs to be emptied and replaced. I do like that the product is very absorbent and doesnt have a smell (except like shredded paper).

This is the only bedding I will use for my 4 rats. It keeps the smell down, cage stays clean, its absorbent, and most of all is safe for my babies. Plus, I think the blue looks cool. Lol

Works really well! Keeps the smell down and really easy to clean it. Same as the stuff I buy in the store though

I have tried a few different colors of Carefresh from pet stores, and the blue seems to be the best (aside from the natural)....Great product, great price!!

Love how easy it is to clean

This has been a great product for our Hamster. No issues with hamster rejecting the product. Consistently the same with every purchase. Very neutral smell, light animal cage type smell but does seem to reduce the smell of the hamsters bodily functions. Cleaning is simple as we dump into a garbage back and refresh with new product every 8 days. Hamster is able to dig tunnels and seems to manipulate it to her content each time its refreshed with ease.
