> 3 dayI gambled and got the youth size instead of the adult size, hoping to mitigate the chefs toque effect that you sometimes get with a large beanie on a small head. It certainly fits more snugly than a full size beanie would, to the extent that it tends to slide backwards off of my head. Ill go for the grown-up one next time to avoid constantly having to tug the hat back down over my ears. Hope this is helpful for anyone on the fence about sizing! Great color, nice and warm, cant knock a classic Carhartt.

03-06-2025I have to buy a bigger size for my toddler bc he has a big head. You know who else has a big head? Dwight from The Office. You know who also wore a orange beanie? Dwight. Guess who I accidentally made my child look like.

> 3 dayWeve had this size of carhartt beanie for our baby since he was a few months old, and expect he will be able to wear it until he is past toddler years. Its warm without making his head sweaty in the fall, but holds up to the cold of Idaho winter. We have a few colors and theyre great!
