Works great and well built

Not able to share personal experience with this item other then it seems well made and allot less expensive then the Camco 30 amp line defender that sales for over $250.

So handy to have I would buy again.

Easy to use and set up within seconds.

It was exactly what I needed for my new RV.

This 30 amp rv surge protector comes perfectly boxed to protect it in transit and is ready to use right away. This is so necessary to prevent expensive damage to RV electrical systems. It is easy to use and read. We love this.

I have not used it yet but it looks like it is a good product.

Connected to RV for additional protection during power surge/ outages

I have a fairly expensive trailer and wanted to protect it from problems in camp grounds. I have seen all types of wiring issues through the years with everything from hot grounds to reversed polarity. All of which can severely damage your investment. First thing I did with this unit was connect it to a test panel where I could change wiring. The unit detected reversed wiring, missing ground, and all of the other issues with wiring. What I could not do and really do not want to do was creat a spike as that damages the unit, but protects the equipment. So, from what I could see, the unit operates as specified and does what it is supposed to do. Next, I tried connecting the ends. Believe it or not, that is one of the tricky things to do with some of these. Most are almost impossible to disconnect!!! The handles on this unit made it easy to connect and disconnect. Flexibility is the next issue. Some of the units I have looked at would not bend at all, but this one will. Agreed, it will not bend a lot, but that is not required. Just some flexibility is required to get out of electrical connection boxes that are located too close to the ground!!! I am please with this unit and I would recommend it.
