Cashel Crusader Fly Mask

The product is made of a nice fabric and the trim is not a messy fleece that debris get caught in. Ordered a size up since my QH has a big ol head and the warmblood size is perfect!

I have had Cashel masks for years and love the durability. My horses keep them on and the flies can’t get to them. My complaint is the sizes seems to get smaller and smaller. I just ordered the same size as previous years and can’t even fasten the Velcro chin strap, nor does the mesh reach as far under the chin.

This is the second one of these Ive bought. My old guy (hes at least 30) refuses to wear anything else, for reasons I cant figure out. It stays in place nicely and it must be comfortable since his picky self will leave it alone unlike every other fly mask which has to be put back on roughly twice a day everyday. It does not really seem to hold up any better that any of the other types that Ive noticed, but it will last a solid summer which in Arizona is about 8 months so maybe my exceptions of getting two seasons out of a fly mask are just unrealistic.

If your dog has a thick undercoat like mine do, dont waste your money. The finer hair on my labs I could shave right through. On their back legs where he undercoat is very thick these would t budge. Just started to pull hair.

Masks came in on time. They fit perfect. Unfortunately, after 3 days they both tore. I would expect several months of wear before I need to start patching.

Great fly mask, much better than Farnum masks. Fit better, less gaps. Id buy this again.

Something changed?? The Size I Ordered Fit SMALLER Than Previous Ones Ordered From Same Vendor?? I May try another company .
