Cashel Crusader Fly Mask

I have mini horses....this mask stayed on. Have had problems with other masks coming off when they play. Would recommend this one plus 70% UV protection.

I’ve tried many brands of fly masks and always come back to Cashel. This size has fit Mustangs with Spanish Barb smaller head characteristics the best of all fly masks I’ve tried. Love the slot for the forelock to lay outside the mask also.

As expected. They seem to be pretty durable

Just take it off and throw in washer, comes out immaculate. Looks new after long hot summer.

This is my go-to mask for our old Warmblood. He seems to attract a ton of flies around his eyes, making him utterly miserable. These masks are really great. They dont lose shape, seem to stand up to a lot of abuse and are machine washable, making it possible to get them really clean. the large fits a tiny bit loosely on him, but not so much that the flies can get up under it. I actually consider this a plus, as a different brand we had gave him a raw spot across his nose from being too close-fitting and not lined with fleecy material around the openings. The visibility also seems good -- hes a senior horse and doesnt seem to see as well as he used to, but doesnt have trouble navigating around things in this mask. I keep two at all times so that I can have a clean one at the ready when he needs it. Definitely recommend!

I have purchased a lot of fly masks over the years and am constantly disappointed by the fit and durability. I bought this one in draft size for my Clydesdale gelding who was being mobbed by the early onslaught of flies. I had purchased a draft size mask from the local feed store only to get it home and it was about the same size as the one I have for my quarter horse mare. I love that this actually is what it says - DRAFT sized and it is a very well made mask, no rub marks, no stiffness, it fits well and stays in place. Thank you!
