Cashel Crusader Fly Mask

> 3 dayI have had Cashel masks for years and love the durability. My horses keep them on and the flies can’t get to them. My complaint is the sizes seems to get smaller and smaller. I just ordered the same size as previous years and can’t even fasten the Velcro chin strap, nor does the mesh reach as far under the chin.

> 3 dayOverall a good product, except the velcro is sewn in an odd way. Kind of difficult to figure out how to connect the velcro to each other.

> 3 dayIt stays on where other masks from large box farm stores did not. I am happy with it.

> 3 dayDont know about the quality because I sent it to a friend to open and put on my horse. But the draft horse size was too small for my small draft so we had to return it.

> 3 dayI have a small quarter horse gelding, normal horse sized flymasks are way to big (the front part goes down to his nostrils)... this one fits well! Hes worn it for a month without removing it while in pasture or ripping it - so am happy with the product. The only thing a little odd about it is the forelock section- you have to pull the forelock hair through a hole/slit between the ear holes. So, if your horse doesnt like being touched by their ears... you may want to consider something else.

> 3 dayIve tried several different brands of fly masks over the years and this is by far my favorite. I like the light grey color which stays cool but also doesnt show dirt too obviously. Its lightweight and easy to clean. The two ear holes are great for keeping this mask on a horse that is a master at removing fly masks. And, this may seem silly, but I love that there is a hole for the forelock! Then its not smushed up under the mask or tweaked over to one side uncomfortably. Ive wondered for years why someone didnt add this feature and now they finally have. I did have a problem when ordering. According to this page, I ordered a standard size grey mask (which is what I wanted). Apparently my order went through as a draft size pink mask. Lucky for me the pink was out of stock so Cashel called to ask me if I would be okay with a different color. I would have ended up with the wrong size AND color if it hadnt been for the pink being unavailable. Cashel had no problem adjusting my order and sending me what I wanted in the first place. But going back and re-reading the page, I am still not sure how the order went through the way it did. Draft size isnt even an option on this page...

> 3 dayWell made and a God send this year with the flies being so bad. The horses dont mind them at all. I am able to walk up in the pasture and put on without needing a halter.
