Cast Iron Dachshund Doorstop by GSM

My son bought this for me for Christmas knowing I love my doxies and love vintage look. I use it to prop my laundry door open. Love it. Its cute and works for its purpose. Its not bulky or too heavy. Perfect.

I have wanted a doorstop to keep the front door from banging into my DVDs. Was I pleased to see this little fella. I like all things Dachshund and this litte guy does not disappoint.

Poorly made! Half of the face is BARELY RECOGNIZABLE as any kind of a dog, let alone a dachshund! It also has sharp edges on the legs and feet, I pray I dont trip over it in the night...ive already broken my foot once this year! Ive seen better workmanship from stuff from the dollar store! It is also WAY smaller than it looks. I would return it, but it appears that I am unable to do so. I guess its a good thing that the hallway door Im going to use it to keep open is not brightly lit.

Every time I walk by and see my doxie guarding my door I know I have made a very good choice with this purchase.

I use this weight to hold my doggie door open!!

Really cute but the legs are fragile. Mine came with one broken but I glued it back on rather than send it back. I dont use it that often.

I bought 2 of these and I absolutely love them. They do the job. They seem to work best on carpeted surfaces.

This is incredibly cute but it was not very useful as a doorstop
