This is premium top of the line Cat 8 Ethernet cable at a great price. The cabling even comes with wall clips to fasten the line along the edge if needed. Nice product and allowed for fast speeds with no intermittent issues. You cant go wrong with this product if you require 30ft worth of Ethernet cable. I will definitely buy this again if I find myself needing to run another line.

I am using this CAT 8 cable to run 1080p and 4k video and audio across rooms using an HDMI ethernet extender. I have extended the cable out to its full length and most video comes across wonderfully with full audio. There are some source issues with the extender boxes, but the Cat 8 cable holds no blame there. The shielding here is also an extra benefit if running this cable through walls were Romex cable may be co-existing.

Im reviewing the MEIPEK brand Ethernet cable described as: Cat 8 Shielded Ethernet Cable 30ft, Heavy Duty High Speed Network LAN Cable 40Gbps 2000Mhz, SFTP Shielded Cat 8 Internet Cable Direct Burial, Gold Plated RJ45 Cable for Gaming/Modem/Router(10 Clips) I needed a 30 Ethernet cable that was rugged and shielded enough to run outdoors between my upstairs router and a TV downstairs that was installed in just such a location as to not get sufficient Wifi reception from any of my three Wifi routers. This cable is doing the job perfectly! Like many buyers, I dont actually need Cat8 speeds (if you are lucky enough to have Gigabit fiber Ethernet to your home, that only requires Cat5 on your LAN to keep up unless you have a lot of fast devices trying to talk to each other on your local network), but its good to future proof. The boots on the jacks are well constructed and dont look like theyll break easily (a common failure point on Ethernet cables). The outer jacket looks exactly like what Id expect for an SFTP cable suited for direct burial -- good quality, thick PVC. The only thing that was a detractor was that they included white cable clips for a black cable. Fortunately I had some black clips to use, so I didnt use the ones they sent. Overall, this is a cable thats a good value at its price point (currently $23.99).

Got this for my gaming PC because honestly, I saw this on Amazons Vine program, I just upgraded to gig internet, and I still had Cat5E running. Upgraded to this cable and not only did I see a speed difference (didnt help the other cable was like 10+ years old), but the ping difference is great too. Look, Im 36, I have worked in IT, now working Cyber Security, but I dont have all my old tools to tell you the exact differences. I do apologize. What I can say though is this cable works great for my setup and havent had issues for the 3 weeks Ive had it. Im happy I got this and I do recommend it for a network cable in general.

The MEIPEK Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 50 FT is well made and works great. It comes with 15 nail down clips if you need them. I have a 500 Mbps internet service with Spectrum and this cable gets over 500 Mbps on speed tests. The modem is labeled 2.5G and the router is only 1G, so it can only do so much until I upgrade the router and other switches and cables in the system. This seems like a top of the line cable.

Cat 8? That seems pretty future proof. My entire home is Cat 5 and Cat 6, but a Cat 8 is ready for upgrades and improvements that we havent seen yet. Ill be testing the weather proof features immediately. Ive strung this cable out across the yard, to a WIFI repeater on a pole. And, it is the beginning of spring - there are a lot of storms due in the near future!
