> 3 dayI chose this CAT8 cable for its indoor/outdoor rating and its suitable for direct underground bury without conduit. This is perfect for an upcoming project requiring roughly 20ft of cable to be buried underground between the main residence and a detached garage with office space. This CAT8 cable is backwards compatible with current 10/100/1000mbps equipment and will simplify upgrading my network equipment in the future up to 40 Gigabit speeds. This is top of the line cable that is design supported the fastest network transmission speeds. I highly recommend this to anyone that has an outdoor or underground application or to anyone wishing to futureproof their current network infrastructure.

> 3 dayMy husband is radiologist who works from home. In order to transfer CT and MRI scans from the hospital network to his home workstation (6 monitors!!!) we need commercial-grade internet connectivity. With a recent hospital PACS system upgrade he needed a higher caliber ethernet cable. Although Cat 8 is way over-engineered and overkill it definitely works and is future-proofing his workstation.

Greater than one weekI did not try to test this cable for high speed data transfer so I cannot confirm whether it meets CAT 8 requirements. However the cable gauge appears to support high speed traffic. I did use it in my home office to connect my router to 1G Ethernet switch which includes a Synology Network Attached Storage unit. Traffic is smooth. The connectors lock solidly. Id rate this a good value.

> 3 dayI needed this for my work area at home and it definitely did the job, it’s just like the picture, if you’re like me and need a Ethernet cord to stretch from one room to another this the cord you need.

> 3 dayI’m using this cable to connect my router in our living room to the entertainment center at the other end of the house. I’m running it through the floor, across the ceiling of the basement, into a crawl space, through the floor again. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a handful of single-nail cable straps! The tab on one of the ends isn’t quite as springy as I’d like, which means I have to pull it out a bit sometimes to get the “click” when plugging it in. But it’s possible I was too rough on it while pushing it through the holes in the floor, so can’t really say if that’sa sturdiness problem. It has been in place for over a week now, and it’s working well. This length was just right for my need.

> 3 dayThis is a really sturdy cable. The outer insulation feels really thick and durable so you can pull it through a wall, and not worry about it getting nicked or snagged. The clips were a great bonus surprise if you need to run along the surface of a wall. In my case I saw 3x speed improvement over WiFi, and I can access the entire internet with this cable, so I would highly recommend it.

> 3 dayCat 8? That seems pretty future proof. My entire home is Cat 5 and Cat 6, but a Cat 8 is ready for upgrades and improvements that we havent seen yet. Ill be testing the weather proof features immediately. Ive strung this cable out across the yard, to a WIFI repeater on a pole. And, it is the beginning of spring - there are a lot of storms due in the near future!

> 3 dayThe MEIPEK Cat 8 Ethernet Cable 50 FT is well made and works great. It comes with 15 nail down clips if you need them. I have a 500 Mbps internet service with Spectrum and this cable gets over 500 Mbps on speed tests. The modem is labeled 2.5G and the router is only 1G, so it can only do so much until I upgrade the router and other switches and cables in the system. This seems like a top of the line cable.

Greater than one weekThere isnt much to review. It works great as an ethernet cord. I do love that it is long enough so that if I decide to move my desk it will follow without hesitation. My computer is right next to the ethernet connector so I left most of it tied up. I was advised by my trainer in class that the Cat 8 is very good and helps to protect your information, so I got this to upgrade from a Cat 6. Everything is running smoothly, no glitches or hesitations. I work from home so I need to make sure that I am up to date on what will help my system run smoothly and help with protecting what goes in or out.
