Mother had know problems using curling iron (make sure any appliance is 120v/220v compliant) this is not a voltage converter but most of our personal appliances and electronics are dual voltage now days.just look on item should be easy to find. The 2 USB’s are handy for charging standard 5v low watt electronics. Basically cameras, recorders, anything you use car usb to charge or laptop. I told Mom to charge iPhone with her Apple charger plugged in to Adapter Plug.. portable backup Battery charged great through 2 USB’s on Adapter.. you should be good has fusible links to safeguard power surges and the like.
