I am currently using Smart Bulbs and Plugs to voice control and automate routines for my lights via my Echo. My house has a lot of dual pole switches and switched outlets that my wife and I were consistently flipping due to years of not having this technology. Also my cover plates are different colors in various rooms. These are perfect. 1. They look a heck of lot better than duct tape. 2. They allow me to operate the switch if need to reset the bulb with out flipping a cover up and down. 3. because they are clear, they work on any switch plate color. 4. you could leave the breakable side covers on if you have little ones and still operate the switch via the top and bottom holes. My only wish is that these came in a 6 pack, because much like beer that,s a really good amount.

These are clear so blend in well. They work well to block use of a light switch. And can also be used to block accidental use of a switch.

I wish I had known of these years ago. We have two separate light switches that power on/off important outlets. Visitors, cleaners, health aides, accidentally turn them off. This was so simple to install and look fantastic. This is much better than the freezer tape I had covering both. We can still use the switches, we have a few plastic letter openers that fit the side slot, but we rarely need to flip them off. It is just a great product for us.

We needed two safety covers. One was for a light the comes on automatically in the basement. The day after I installed it, we had a repair person in the house and when he went into the basement he tried to flip the switch and couldnt. Once he figured it out why he couldnt turn on the light, we laughed about it. We know not to flip the switch, but visitors and repair people dont. Works for us, easy to install.

I really like the design of these switch guards. Easy to install. Since the plastic is clear, they blend in with any color of face plate. You can still access the switch from the side with your fingers or by using a screw driver or pen through a hole at the top and bottom.

Keeps my 1yo from turning on the light next to the crib. I was concerned about tiny fingers getting stuck in the hole, but it hasn’t happened and it’s been installed for a couple months.
