Bought these after buying some automatic light bulbs in my house. Prevents other people from turning on or off the switches that need to remain in a certain position. Very easy to install and the plastic is very sturdy and strong. I really like the options to break the tabs to accommodate for your use or preference.

For light switches that you dont want to adjust very often these are great. We use them on three way switches that we want in a certain position. If you have have to change it, you can with a pen, otherwise the switch stays put in a certain configuration.

More of a permanent block, although you can get a pencil or screw driver in to turn it on and off. I prefer the other models with built-in button that allows activating the switch with adult hands.
