> 3 dayLove love love these crochet hooks. It does not matter what yarn I am using, Clovers never have let me down. This is coming from someone who started off on Susan Bates and non name brand aluminum crochet hooks. I always thought I would not be picky but Ive learned to love Clovers.

> 3 dayThis hook worked well for my project but I found it to be a bit grabby with the yarn. So if you have tight tension you will be struggling against it a bit.

> 3 dayLove this hook; same great quality as my other Clover hooks. Since its a larger hook, its made of plastic, but it seems strong. If it was made of anodized aluminum as the smaller hooks are, I think it would be heavy to work with. I would definitely recommend this.

> 3 dayThe handle is perfection! This is the perfect comfort fit for my hands. I only wish the hook was metal instead of plastic.

> 3 dayI LOVE the Clover Amour hooks in the smaller sizes. I was very happy to see the larger sizes arrive on the market because I dont prefer the knitters pride K size that I have. That handle is too bulky and the hook shaft too short. When I received this Clover K hook, I was so disappointed to find the hook shaft was plastic. I thought Id be okay with it, but it doesnt glide as smoothly through the yarn. Ive found that I am reaching for the Knitters Pride hook instead, because it has a metal shaft. I also dislike the material of the Clovers handle in the larger sizes. Its made of a hard plastic instead of the more rubbery elastimer stuff, and its just not as comfortable in the hand. I know a few people have said they went with these particular materials because of the weight that would be required to use the elastimer and the metal hook, but I think thats just an excuse to cut corners and make more profit. The Knitters Pride hook is a larger handle with heavier rubber, and the hook shaft is metal, and even with the SLIGHT increase in weight, Id rather use it than the Clover. The metal just goes more smoothly and lets me crochet faster (even though the KP handle is bulkier and less agile to use). CLOVER, listen to your customers! We want the metal shaft and the elastimer handles on these larger size hooks!
