Greater than one weekWe used these on a cruise ship and they were perfect. They held wet towels, clothes, hats, and lightly loaded day-bags. Note that on very smooth or slippery surfaces they will not hold up as well...the magnets are decently strong, but still subject to sliding down a wall if there is not enough friction. Still, they worked great for us.
