I was looking for media to fill my new canister filter and this did the job. Crystal clear tank and money in my pocket.

Worked great cleaning our pond, although I think you are better of getting smaller bags and staggering them, only lasted about a month

The Carbon in this duo bleeds for forever! It has been rinsed and rinsed, soaked and rinsed for over two weeks now and is still unusable. If you choose to purchase this product just know that you are receiving the ceramic rings, bio balls and three reusable mesh bags. The carbon is trash. The mesh bags themselves are great quality, but note that the openings are a little to big for the reuse with granulated carbon. They will hold pellet sized carbon only.

This set was a perfect starter kit for my filter. It includes everything youll need and all three mesh bags are still holding up with no ripping or tearing.

Purchased this product to help remove the tea color from my pond water. You do need to take about 15 minutes rinsing the package with a garden hose to get all the dust off. It will never be perfectly clean. I have a 2500 gallon pond and just dropped the whole bag in behind some plants. No additional discoloration of the water and already seeing clearer water within the first day.
