The only thing I like about this umbrella is the 24 rib canopy which give an impression of being amazingly strong. It does have a good bit of weight to it but is still manageable. This is the second umbrella I received. The first one arrived damage. The ferrule was smashed in and it was obviously hollow, so dont put any weight on it. The first one also had a major issue with the locking mechanism and would not stay closed. Being a very strong umbrella that automatically opens and cant be kept closed unless snapped was a terrible experience. Lastly my biggest complaint is the handle. The title and the description both state Solid Wood Hook Handle & This umbrella also has a solid wood hook handle. respectively. This is obviously a lie. A few days after receiving the second umbrella it fell out of my vehicle when I opened the door and struck the concrete. This chipped the finish revealing some sort of fiberglass/resin handle. If you look in the second photo youll see a metal collar where the handle joins the shaft is not only cheap looking but a new addition to the design that is not show in the sellers photos. On top of that, the quality of the install terrible. It does not sit flush or straight. I really really like the canopy. Its elegant and sophisticated. Everything else on this umbrella is a joke. The old adage is true. If you want something done right youll have to do it yourself. I plan to replace the handle and ferrule shortly.

Probably the nicest, most elegant umbrella I have ever seen! With 24 ribs it seems quite sturdy. It weighs more, of course, which is somewhat of a drawback, but I understand that it is a trade-off for the material and structure. The only other thing I believe could improve this item would be to have an attached identification tag so that in case it were lost, it could be returned. I will use a pipe cleaner to attach a tag though to provide the information. Another brolly I had was returned to me as a result of a tag.

I was so excited until i realized it was swaying. The fiberglass handle was frayed towards the handle and could easily snap. I hope the replacement does not disappoint like this one.

The umbrella auto-open is easy to use and quick. It easily fits two people underneath and feels incredibly sturdy. Im actually a little sad it hasnt rained yet so that I could use it.

This umbrella is the best I have own in a long time. It is beautiful, sturdy & practical. Worth every dollar I paid.

The umbrella seems sturdy and very well made, is a generous size when open, and is long enough to use as a walking stick, at least for someone of my relatively short height. Also, the metal tip happens to be the same size as a trekking pole, so you can even order rubber protective tips to put on the end. Of course, i dont know how much actual weight it would support but it seems fine for just strolling around.

Quality and construction surpassed my expectations. 24 ribs! Wow! Working well in my coastal Louisiana tropical weather of rain and wind.

A beautiful umbrella. Haven’t tested it in the rain yet, however it feels very sturdy. It is exactly as pictured and I’m very happy with the purchase!

This is one of the best looking, best made umbrella I’ve ever owned. I love the detail both inside and out of this I’m umbrella. The quality is almost unmatchable!! I would definitely purchase it again and would recommend it to anyone who likes a unique umbrella!!!!!!
