Greater than one weekI think the seller did as good as they could. I have a balance and age. But issue and this requires pre drilling and a shorter screw. It looks like it would work fine but I returned it so Ill never know so, Ill never know. Look like a small plastic L-bracket but metal will chip porcelain.

Greater than one weekI tried everything to fix our wobbly toilet seats. I changed the plastic bolts. I installed rubber washers all to no avail. Finally I tried these and it worked! Finally a product that actually does what it says . My only negative about this product is it does need a drill to install and we actually installed the product closer to the front of the seat (not as the picture shows). Thankfully I have a handy hubby but it would’ve been tricky for me to install this item if I had to do it myself.

> 3 dayThe instructions say to use rubber bands but honestly that made it harder for me. I was able to install these easily otherwise. No more holding on for dear life while sliding in the middle of the night! Such an affordable and great solution. Very happy!

> 3 dayWe moved into a new house and all three toilet seats would consistently become loose which was very iritating. I tried several options to fix the problem, and none of them worked. Until I found this. Initially, I purchased one and tried it. After having it work, I purchased two more. The product is like training wheels for your toilet seat. It cant slip to the side if installed properly. I saw several low ratings because the screw was too long and stuck through the seat. Yes, if the screw is too long for the seat thickness it obviously will. But, I think the larger issue is that you probably shouldnt be using power tools for fear of hurting yourself if you didnt measure the seat thickness compared to the screw length! So, probably wont work on a plastic seat since the ones I have seen are thin. The seat does need to be thick, i.e., wood.

> 3 dayUsed these to help secure the toilet seats at the house. My spouse and MiL are disabled and unsteady on their feet. When the seats get loose and slide it makes it hard for them to get up. Super easy to install and its been months with no problems!
