Greater than one weekThese definitely do the trick on my new but poor-fitting seats. I bought the new seats because they were one piece (easier to clean) , and had a nice soft-return action- unfortunately they just dont fit right! The bumpers seem a bit bulky, but I guess thats whats needed to get the job done. Because you have to screw these into the underside of your seat, I cant consider my seats to be one piece any more (thus a little harder to clean), but no more sliding around! Before this I tried new washers, specialized washers, but only this did the trick.

Greater than one weekIt’s the little things in life that make a person happy. These stabilizers are fantastic and over all easy to install with a drill. I was glad I did some testing of the seat by sitting on it, repeating the movement made that made the seat shift in the first place. Placing both stabilizers on one side instead of either side worked the best for me.

> 3 dayWhen properly installed, these really do stop the toilet seat from moving around and breaking the bolts that hold the seat.

> 3 dayBought for my elderly mother after asking her maintenance several times to secure her toilet seat. Everytime she sits down it slides from side to side and starting to slide backwards. They couldnt seem to get her seat secure for more than a day or two. I went to Amazon searching for a solution and I found it!! This stabilizer came with rubber bands which was an ingenious way for them to guide customers of all skill levels (including none) how to properly attach. I had them on within 5 minutes and they completely secure the seat from sliding. Its been over 2 months since I placed the stabilizers on her seat and she hasnt had any sliding. 100% satisfied and I am ordering one for myself tonight!

> 3 dayI recently had surgery. My toilet seat kept coming loose. I had my stepfather install these brackets for me because I was afraid of falling. No more issues. I would recommend them. The keep the seat perfectly in place.

> 3 daySeriously. Why arent all toilet seats equipped with these? I have had to replace multiple toliet seats as they become damaged from shifting side to side with use --no amount of bolt tightening seemed to help. I have friend with mobility issues who was legitimately afraid of using the toilet at my house because the seat slid. I finally had it after my latest $50 solid wood toilet seat started sliding too (and the seat portion began ripping away from the lid!). I had never realized there was a product like this but I am so glad I found it. It was very easy to install-- the package comes with rubber bands to help with placement and to hold them on while you attach them with screws. The seat is perfectly stable now. My guests can pee (or whatever) securely now and forever. Thank you.

Greater than one weekYou won’t need these until your seat twists and won’t tighten up enough to prevent shifting. These are cheaper than a new seat and work wonderfully.
