Cooler Master MasterCase H500M ARGB Airflow ATX Mid-Tower with Quad Tempered Glass Panels, Dual 200mm Customizable ARGB Lighting Fans, Type-C I/O Panel, and Vertical GPU Slots (MCM-H500M-IHNN-S00)

I bought this case for a new PC build I was doing, the cords were easy to use and manage, and it came with so much space and all the screws I needed for the motherboard, Hard drive, and a lot left over! Cable management was also a breeze because they left plenty of space for the cords and many slots for zip ties! The instructions were a little hard to decipher because there are not a lot of words explaining the pictures, but after Googling a review it was very straight forward. I was also impressed with the RGB controller. Since it isnt standardized across all motherboards, they included the plug for Gigabyte, one for Asus, MSI, and ASROCK, (those 3 are all one cable) and an adapter that converts it to a different cable that connected to a PSU cord. The forethought of this design is impeccable! The fans are also pretty quiet, I can barely hear them when I am on discord. -Beverly & Noah

The Aorus master has a 3 pin and 4 pin d-led slots. The H500 has a pre-installed ARGB splitter- with 1 cable that reads ASUS-MSI, and another that reads GIGABYTE. But that gigabyte cable? Doesnt fit properly to the 3 pin slot. So what? do you use only 3 of the 4 pins on the 4 pin slot? Or do you use the ASUSMSI 3 pin cable (which will fit on the 3 pin d-led)? Yep.. Use the asus cable. Yes it works fine with gigabyte mobos- its just a cable after all. Someone at COOLERMASTER needs to get the memo about this apparently, cause frustratingly enough- they have a faq for the 3 pin fans to the 4 pin connectors, but NOT the ARGB situation. I havent seen it cleanly explained ANYWHERE, so there ya go. Even the manuals for gigabyte and the h500 were of little help on this confusion situation. I hope I just saved a lot of you 12+ hours of dizzying hair pulling stressful research. You are welcome internet. Soo how is the case? Well its the first pc Ive built since 2014, so maybe everything has gotten really good in that time but I dont know. I just know its incredible. The cable management. The space. The cooling. The housing for psu and ssdhdd. all of it is such a big win! Its soo quiet my jaw hit the floor first time I fired it up. Seriously HOW IS IT THIS QUIET!? I paired it up with a noctua d 15 which is also impossibly quiet. In low mode (which is when you are in windows not gaming) its but a tiny whisper. When gaming it gets louder but still a big improvement from my old coolermaster case from eons ago. LIGHT SHOW! The giant fans look downright industrial neon city. I am instantly addicted to 200mm fans and leds now. With how spacious this case is (this would have been called full tower at one time I bet lol) and how gorgeous the fans and lights are, with the glass side I am surprised how good it looks in person, and you better believe it looks great in a dark gamers room. STURDY! Wow is it heavy duty. The steel on this thing is thick. I dont think Ill have any issues with durability on this, at least not on the frame. Front Port panel- This is one the reasons I chose this over other 200mm case fan models (like the monotech). I love how the front panel is slanted, and works great for my needs. Having the case on the floor its perfect to see what i am plugging into. 4 usb ports is plenty for anything I want to do, and the microphone port is on the side I want and need (less cable stretching) BREATHE- Vents vents vents, everywhere cept the back side panel (which is normal among cases). This case is soo big it has no problem breathing and keeping your stuff cool. CONS- The only con I can find- is the 200mm fans are soo quiet, I can hear some tiny wobble in both of them. I dont think its a defect, more like normal operating noise you simply would not hear with normal noisy fans. CONCLUSION- I never imagined spending 100$ on a case before, now I cant imagine spending less. The h500 argb is incredible, and its fun to see how much case tech has advanced in the past 10 years. Even if you are like me (not an expert pc builder) its neat how easy its getting to make sweet looking towers that make all those console kids pretend they are not impressed). This is all just part of PC MASTER RACE PRIDE! And what a proud day it is to be a member of this fine race of superior gamers. Dont buy a cheapy 40$ case that cant breathe then stuff a 3080 in there! Esp if you dont have AC in the summer =D. Thank you coolermaster- but please update your instructions (esp on your web site), cause they utterly failed to mention the asus cable can and SHOULD be used for some gigabyte mobos.

I am extremely happy with this case. There is a video around somewhere on YouTube where they did review on cooling with this and like 20 other cases. Not only did it come out near the top but it was also one of the cheaper ones. It definatley lives up to that. The cooling is great. I only added one extra 140mm fan at the top vent and set it as an extra exhaust fan. I have a 2080 nvidia and an i7-9700k processor with a cpu cooler that is probably not good enough for that CPU. I run a temperature tracking program and my cpu and gpu dont get hotter then about 62c during heavy gaming at max settings. Its all very quiet too. My old gaming laptop seems like a loud boiling jet engine now. For my first pc build i found the directions were easy to understand. The important screw holes and cords in the case are also labeled so its easier to know what to do when putting it together. The carrying handle feels sturdy so far, i transport the desktop around to friends houses to play vr games. Overall highly satisfied.

Love this case, added a 200mm Noctua chromax.Black for top exhaust, it was a little bit of a task getting it in, had to flex the top rim of the case to get it in. But the completed build is really good. Case has enough room for the Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black cpu cooler which is 6.5 x 6 x 6.5 inches. its a 5 star case if your building a 100% air cooled system. Build note; do not use the power supply cover slots for the CPU wires, you wont be able to put the PCU cover back on.

Let me start by saying that the normal price for this case is a hundred dollars. If significantly more is being asked for it, just be aware that you are paying more than MSRP. That said, this is an excellent case. It is better than the older Cooler Master case I was using before. The airflow is amazing, and the aesthetics are very much to my liking. The lighting isnt overdone or gaudy. The thick tempered glass side panel is really nice. The cable management is outstanding, with holes right where you want them, and covers to make everything look really clean. They give you a generous amount of space behind the back panel and spots for zip ties to keep all your cables where you want them. It has two trays that can take a HDD or an SSD, and two spots on the back to mount SSDs out of sight. The front fans look fantastic, and they move an insane amount of air while remaining super, super quiet. The included optional RGB switch works great if you dont have a motherboard that supports RGB control (I dont). Do be aware that the rear exhaust fan is not RGB. I had a fan from my old case that I used to replace it. I also added a 140mm fan from my old case to the top for extra exhaust, and that gave me almost perfect neutral pressure. Its just barely positive pressure now, which I consider to be ideal. I still have the mesh front panel on, and I think it looks great, but if maximum airflow isnt necessary for your build, the included acrylic front panel looks really nice as well. One of the main reasons I got this case is that is has a handle on top. I usually game in my living room, but I have a dedicated VR room as well, so I have to carry my tower across the house pretty often. The handle on this is great. They dont tell you this, but there is a second handle under the bottom front support, so you can carry it with both hands. Its heavy, but you can really get a secure hold on it. Its also very doable with just the top handle. I found this case to be a joy to build in. Every aspect of the build quality feels like a more expensive case. I honestly cant believe they are selling these for a bill. I would have felt I got my moneys worth even if I had paid half again as much. I would strongly recommend this case. I am super happy with it, and my PC buddies are jealous.

The Cooler Master H500 isnt a case to jump up and down about, but its nothing to turn up your nose at either. Its spacious enough to work inside of pretty easily and holds an ATX motherboard or smaller with ease (Im not sure about eATX). Standoff locations are clearly marked by form factor. Cable management could be a bit easier and Id have been more impressed with velcro ties than zip-ties (of which there were too few), but there are sufficient tie-down points that keeping your cabling neat wont be a major chore. The two 240mm front fan and the 120mm rear exhaust fan are reasonably quiet. You can hear them, but theyre only slightly louder than background noise (my GPUs fans are far louder). Airflow with the mesh front panel is far superior to that with the glass front panel. In short, there are better cases out there, but youll pay more for them. There are also far worse cases out there at a lower price point. Its a solid mid-tier case.

Best case I have ever built in. The weight is a little on the heavy side so lift with legs. Overall mine was real good quality. Would recommend buying this case for anyone.

This is a really cool and unique design for a PC case with the 2 200mm fans in the very front. It is extremely easy to build in and has a very large amount of room for cable management in the back. The design of the glass side panel is also very well thought out with the 2 large screws that can be twisted by hand and the ledge that holds the glass in place to prevent you from dropping it before you can get a good trip when removing it. The 2 included fans are very quiet and functional, and do have RGB. However, the RGB only has a couple of settings and is overall a bit bland. Youll want to buy your own 200mm fans if you want them to sync up well with the rest of your RGB. My particular case came with a very small chip in the black paint (upper right hand corner next to the glass panel) that has gotten slightly larger over time. I suspect this would be fairly easy to cover up. Overall, if you like the design of the case its definitely worth the money. Build quality is great and it seems to be well thought out. Its a beautiful center piece for any gaming center in your house.

Lots of space and tie down points for cable management, extra stand-offs for mini and micro ATX boards, pre-installed ARGB wiring and ACTUAL AIRFLOW. If you hate airflow and want to suffocate your components on purpose, CoolerMaster even includes an acrylic front panel to replace the front mesh panel, if you ever feel the need to do that. Still, a nice addition from CM. Large 200mm fans push a great deal of air while still being low noise. I run the 12V fans on their full 12V power and theyre still overpowered by the sound of my Noctua NH-D15 fans. 120mm fan in the back is non-ARGB, but still pushes a great deal of air around while being relatively quiet. CoolerMaster purposely also leaves room for up to a 240mm radiator on top, and for good reason. You really dont need a 360mm radiator, even while OCing your CPU to the max. With the 2x 200mm fans in the front supplying more than enough air for a chunky air cooler like a Noctua NH-D15 (which fits, just FYI!), a 240mm in a vertical orientation is more beneficial to the case temperature-wise than putting a 360mm rad in front and then having 2x 140mm fans in the top, or moving one of the included 200mm fans to the top instead. Regardless of what you do, theres enough extra screws in the box for all your mounting needs. BUY THE ONE WITH THE HANDLE. The more expensive ones have the same amount of airflow, just with a premium finish. Also, the handle is actually quite sturdy, integrated into the base of the metal chasse. Still, I would suggest a two-handed over-under carry if you care about your back. If you want a great airflow case, this is the one right here. NZXT and Lian-Li, eat your heart out.

This case quality is 100% and will fit any every brand motherboard or power supply the weight is about 23 kg and the collers the curves the style man am telling you in real life is way better then you see it in youtube . Get it and thank me later
