I have used paint shop pro series for years and this upgrade now exceeds my needs, but I will grow into it.

Right off the top I will say I like my older version so much better. I wish if they want to do upgrades that they wouldn’t eliminate the best features from previous versions. This has very few new pros which is a shame. Also I am not that tech savvy so it could be that I am just more comfortable with the previous version.

I am sure that somewhere buried in this massive piece of photo handling software there is many useful features, I just cant find out how to effectively use them. Thats bad enough, but what really bothers me is the complications that stand in the way of doing some of the simplest of procedures. In todays world I expect software that does not require a learning curve that requires hours of investigation coupled with the frustration of finding out that so many tools only function on certain levels. Corel apparently does not understand how to make a piece of software that has any level of being intuitive. I did not purchase Paintshop from Amazon, but directly from Corel, although I wish I would have, because I am confident that Amazon would have stood behind a product they sell. Dealing directly with Corel has been very disappointing.

The easiest to use in no time at all...

I finally grew somewhat accustomed to Paint Shop Pro 9 and got to where I liked it. However, this new Paint Shop is, in my opinion, for the birds. It is difficult to navigate and hard (for an old man) to use. Wish I could some way go back to PSP 9. Also, since I was unable to use the program, I uninstalled it from my computer and attempted to install it on my wifes computer. No luck; it would not read the disk, so I tried to reinstall it on my computer and, again, it would not take the serial number, so now neither of us has this program. To me, its not big deal because I didnt like the program, although I would like to get my money back for something we cannot use.

I hate this, I was use to the screen and now i cannot find anything and when ask help it shows me my old screen view not what i have now. forget this..........get your money back

Great value for the money. Extensive documentation in the 584 page manual. Customer service was prompt with good follow-up.

Many many years ago (when digital copies of your negatives were just becoming popular...yeah... THAT long ago) I was a very keen amateur photographer and I loved playing around with my photos in Photo shop and similar programs. They were complex but simple by comparison to what we can do now. One look at this program and I know I am going to have a loooong learning curve while I figure this thing out.

I have a friend that bought this and both he and I have used it. It works great.
